(Bottle). Sweet aroma of caramel malt and a little smoky syrup. The taste is sweet and malty with a slightly burnt toffee tone. The aftertaste has a slightly dry and grainy maltiness and a hoppy bitterness with grapefruit flavor. Not my kind of beer, to much grainy malt in the taste!
Bottle. Reddish Amber in colour. Very Malty; chocolate, biscuity malts, caramel, hints of coffee, nuts. Hoppy; earthy and spicy (peppery) hops. Fruity; some citrus fruit. Bittersweet malty chocolate spicy throughout. Dry malty finish. Decent. Very drinkable. (2011-10-18)

500ml bottle from Morrisons supermarket (£1):
Terrible, that’s about all I can say to sum up the taste of this beer really. It started okay when I first poured it, sitting well in the glass but instantly things deteriorated when I smelt and tried the beer with little more than some caramel malts and too much bitterness coming through. The beer was a real struggle to finish and I ended up giving up close to the end, it was that bad. lokis333 (490) - Bir˛ai, LITHUANIA - OCT 18, 2015
Clear ruby color with small caramel foam. Aromas of coffee, roasted malt. Palete light, medium body but bitter aftertaste/finish. Taste, Roasted malt, nutty. Overall bitter, malty, smoked okayish, not my stile beer but definatly has stronger and lasting taste which is good. birocotsios (173) - - OCT 1, 2015

Bottle, 10C. Copper with a bit of a pink tinge, light beige head. Aroma of redcurrants, plums, biscuity malt. Fair bit of body, lowish carbonation. An intriguing array of fruit and biscuity flavours - redcurrants, cranberries, plums, blood oranges. Moderately bitter and somewhat astringent finish. Pretty engaging drop. harrisoni (18436) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - SEP 14, 2015
Bottle from Morrisons and drunk at home; Chestnut colour, lasting beige head. Light Sheps house yeast aroma, with some sweet fruity malts. In the mouth, there is some malt. A little light cocoa. Bit thin on the swallow. Some hops, but mostly bitterness rather than flavour. Some almost burnt malt. Toffee. Dryness. Ok. A little thin on the back end.
