Bottle from Lidl, Wrekenton. This amber ale has almond and burnt toffee flavours, malty and red fruity flavours with a nutty, woody finish. A typical Shepherd Neame taste but with a lower ABV. DruncanVeasey (8283) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - DEC 16, 2013
Clear red fluid in a clear glass bottle from Lidl. Another one. Pours clear red pillowed with white. Smells like a rusty gate hinge; a bridleway, sawdust in a recently cleaned rabbit hutch. Flavour of desperation; flatness, nosebleed, fossilised hop, bloodily metallic 1970s keg bitter in a pub on a West Midlands council estate on the verge of closure. The estate; not just the pub. Drinkable. undercurrent25 (2202) - Barnton, Cheshire, ENGLAND - DEC 8, 2013
