A classy cider. of medium bodied sweetness, with late drrness. toffee.apple. sour cooking apple. cobwebs.mustiness . downender (8729) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2008
Bottle. Gold with no head and moderate carbonation. Fresh apple aroma with a hint of tartness. Surprisingly easy drinking for the ABV, with a dry yet juicy apple flavour. Very drinkable and another good single varietal from Sheppys. OStreetBrewery (120) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 17, 2008
Pours a mid gold with a disappearing head. Aroma features a complex blend of crisp apple, oaky tannin, and a touch of wild ferment. On the palate crisp apple , tannin and a wild astringent note lead to a solid sour finish. Fantastic cider, dangerously drinkable. haddonsman (1234) - Derby, Derbyshire, ENGLAND - MAR 20, 2006
Bottled. Sharp and crisp, does exactly what you’d expect for this varietal with a lovely astringent feel to it. DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 24, 2006
Aroma is maybe a bit minimal but some frush apples and cherry maybe kick in? Taste is also quite fresh sharp apples, a decent amount of sourness and dry finish. Good effort.

Light golden colour and a fresh aroma. Taste was interesting for someone who doesn’t know much about cider: sweetness merging into sourness and finally to something not far removed from bitterness. Made me want to explore further the world of cider. TC2642 (265) - Worcester, Worcestershire, ENGLAND - AUG 15, 2004
Bottle. Sweetish butterscotch aroma. Quite a sharp full taste with hints of butterscotch in the taste as well as the aroma. Very juicy and quite dry with a mellow aftertaste.
