500ml bottle. Fairly sweet and sharp with some coarse tannins and alluring dryness but could’ve done with a little more fruitiness. Still, beautifully blended & makes for great winter cider drinking.

Bottled. Good sweet tinge to it, jiucy fruits keep away from sourness and ply a decent tasting middle line. My favourite on the day having tasted several others in the Sheppy range.

500ml bottle. Pours orange gold with lots of carbonation. Aroma is strongly acidic with some sharp apple underneath. Taste is much the same, light acid to start, much stronger acid and apple skins on the finish.

500 ml bottle served cool. Golden yellow and sparkly in the glass. Proper apple aroma and flavour. Smooth almost creamy mouth feel, and considering the ABV, the alcohol is more of a nudge than a kick. Well balanced and quaffable.

Bottle from the Cider Farm, Lewes shared with McTapps. Starting off with some golden delicious apples in the aroma and some vanilla in the back. Developing a great mix of sweet and sour in the taste. Well, more sweet than sour. Balanced carbo, medium dry finish with some earthy moments and floral influence. Some slight bitterness in the aftertaste.

Bottle. Clear golden colour, quite visibly carbonated. Sweet and slightly tart apple aroma. Sweet, tart and dry flavours. Full bodied, lightly carbonated. Very drinkable.

harrisoni (18431) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JAN 2, 2011
500ml bottle from Sainsburys. Clear gold colour with thin white collar. Some decent acidity on the aroma. Touch of acetone even. I like the acetone on this very much. Finish has some dryness. Good character and good firmness in mouth. Rather a decent cider.

olliejobbins (1578) - Dorking, Surrey, ENGLAND - JAN 3, 2014
500ml bottle. Pours a clear yellow/slight amber. Aroma is of sweet apples, perhaps a little acidic. Very nice taste. Smooth. Balanced between sweet and dry. Definitely doesn’t taste like its 7.2%

Philym (1003) - St Neots, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - APR 2, 2014
Appearance: Clear golden amber. Aroma: Apple, wood, note of earthiness and spice. Taste: Medium sweetness and low tartness. Palate: Thick coarse texture, light/medium body, average carbonation, dry, lingering sweet and quite tart apple finish, with a hint of pepperiness and strangely very subtle marzipan notes (very faint). Comments: Tasty.
