Bottle 500ml. clear glass.
Clear light orange yellow color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, fully lasting, white head. Aroma is apple, red apples, light vanilla. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light light acidic with a average to long duration, real apples, dry, barnyard notes. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is flat.
500ml bottle bought at Corks, Bristol. Golden with spritzy carbonation. Light apple and yeast aroma. As Hughie says, this was sweet, with the merest hint of a dry finish, that left a prickle behind in the throat. Ok for a bottled cider, but Sheppys produce much better. hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 26, 2008
Bright gold. Faint apple peel aroma. Sweet fruity taste with just a hint of astringency and dryness. Better than the average bottled cider.
