Bottle. Dark golden colour, quite high visible carbonation. Aroma of apples, oak, barnyard, and alcohol. Very smooth, well balanced flavours, sweet, dry, woody, fruity. Excellent and dangerously drinkable. leaparsons (10696) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 25, 2005
Bottle. Golden with slowly rising bubbles. Aromas are apples with a red wine dryness, also wood. Flavours are not so apple orientated as the aroma - drier and woodier. Lots of tannin as the commercial description suggests. Tastes as good as the decent cask ciders. haddonsman (1234) - Derby, Derbyshire, ENGLAND - DEC 4, 2004
Bottled. Another outstanding Sheppy’s cider. Shines in the glass, no mad carbonation, disgustingly easy drinking for 7.2%, well-tempered appleness, hint of that oak finish, have to stop my wife drinking these ciders before I get a look in! Bottle. Very nice easy drinking cider.Quite a subdued taste and mothfeel, very clean. Some tannin in the taste and I get butterscotch (yeast strain?) which I also got with another Sheppy’s product.
