3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: MAR 8, 2011 On tap at Sherwood. Pours a slightly amber orange with medium off-white head. Aroma of mild hops, grass, and an herbal presence I cannot place. Flavor matches, but is very refreshing. Altogether very enjoyable and refreshing. Don’t know that this is something to seek out, but definitely a nice beverage anyway.
Pours a pale copper with a thin white head. Aroma is caramel and nutty malts with floral and herbal hops. Flavor is dry bread, with floral hops, caramel malts, and something different that I assume must be hemp. Has a soft, light body. Interesting. It started growing on me, but not something I would drink a lot of. Mark_Eck (1998) - - JUN 19, 2016
Notes from summer. Pours an orangish color. Aroma and taste are citrus, grains, and some grass. rumproasts (5427) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAY 16, 2015
tap at 2015 michigan winter beer fest. Amber with minimal head. Underhopped pale ale. I don’t know what hemp adds to this - I don’t detect anything particularly interesting. Ferris (15907) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 17, 2014
Draft - Sweet caramel and some grassy notes. Hazy copper with almost no head. Caramel and light bitterness. Not bad. SpongeRuiner (1114) - Michigan, USA - MAR 1, 2014
On tap at the brewery. As soon as it hits your tongue has a slightly nice citrus but immediately go away and is followed by a plain almost cardboard flavor. Drinkable. Just not much flavor.

On tap at Sherwood Brewpub. Clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aroma is very stalky and smells like rope with pale malt and toasted grains. Taste is pale and grainy with wheat, mild corn, light fruit and toasted malt. Semi sweet and a touch slippery. Tmoney99 (14625) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 30, 2011
Draft sample at MBGSF 2011. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate earthy hop and toasted malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Complex drinkable brew. flatmatt (1587) - Northville, Michigan, USA - JUL 23, 2011
On tap at MBGSF 2011. Pours a clear amber with a white head. Fruity aroma with caramel and butterscotch. Flavor also has fruity overtones, with banana, herbal hops, and butterscotch in there. deyholla (11759) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 25, 2010
Sampled from the tap at the 2010 MBG Fall Fest. Poured a near clear orange gold with a near white head that dissipated slowly to the edges. Aroma was full of grassy hops with some hay and malt backing. Flavor was very grassy as well with a hay backing. Smooth beer but left a little something to be desired. badnewsbeers (2312) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - AUG 17, 2010
