Poured from a stubby bottle. Appearance is a cloudy golden, topped with a thin layer of white froth with medium retention, and reappears with lacing when swirled later. Aroma is perfumed with floral and mainly pine and resinous hops, some citrus fruit can be detected faintly, and also some bready, biscuity dough of the malts. Taste is somewhat lightly sweet, full of mainly pine and floral flavours, with some notes of citrus fruit, then giving way as the hop aromas draft off to a more earthy malty taste in the backbone. In the same way, the sweetness slowly get drowned out by the short bitter finish. This ale is lightly carbonated wit some muted buzz. Surprisingly the mouthfeel is somewhat thin and watery, especially towards the end, so a bit of a letdown here.

Backlog. Draught at Druggists beer bar, Singapore. Cloudy golden, off-white head. Citra and tropical fruit in the aroma. Nice balance between hoppy variety and ripe, tropical fruit. Medium-bodied. A very good APA.

33cl bottle from Midori, Nagano. Pours slightly hazy golden with a modest pale white head.Fruity aroma dominated by citrus with notes of tropical fruits and hints of malt and grass. Moderate sweet with lovely, fresh hoppy flavours and a nice bitterness. Medium body with carbonation slightly on the soft side. Nice APA!

Pour is a very cloudy amber orange with thin white head. Aroma is mainly tropical fruit. Similar tropical fruit flavour profile with a pine hop finish. Nothing bad, but nothing memorable either.

On draft at When Pigs Fly in Maine. Straightforward, old school pale ale from Japan. The hop flavor is on the lighter side, playing more of a supporting role, and the malt is fresh abd light. Refreshing and very drinkable.
