330ml bottle - thanks jinroh! (6:3:6:4:13=3.2)martjoobolut (5468) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - OCT 9, 2017
Sweet almondy malty aroma, a touch plasticky. Flecky orange pour, small tight head. Makes a big puddle when spilt on the floor. Full palate, gentle carbonation. Sweet malty taste. More bittering hops than aromatic. Quite grassy. Resiny finish. Pleasant quaff, not showing off the grassiness of the wet hops particularly.
Bottle (thanks jinroh). Pours golden. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, caramel, sweetness. Flavor is sweet and bitter, citrus, caramel, grapefruit. Finish is dry and grapefruit. Overall: good Juks (1267) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - OCT 9, 2017
330ml bottle, thanks jinroh. Pours clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of vegetables, boiled carrot, grassy hops, earthy. Vegetables also in taste, hops, herbs. Earthy hopiness in aftertaste. Medium bodied, average carbo. Drinkable and interesting, but little bit too much carrot for me. Marduk (8828) - Reval, ESTONIA - OCT 9, 2017
330ml bottle (thanks jinroh). Clear deep amber color. Medium size, white head, stays. Citrus, fruity, malty, sweet, bit rubbery in aroma. Citrus, fruity, sweetish, malty in taste. Spicy and citrusy bitter hops in aftertaste. Nice bitterness, bit dusty. Soft carbonation. Very solid brew. tiong (7823) - Espoo, FINLAND - OCT 5, 2017
Draught @ Craftheads, Tokyo. Pours orange with a smooth head. Aroma of fresh grassy hops, herbal notes, pine, resin and citrus. Taste is smooth, fresh hoppy and grassy with some pine, resin and citrus. Finish is sweetish, fresh hoppy and citrusy with some pine and resin, hints of caramely malts. Nice.

Rich green citrus character, very smooth mouthfeel, maybe a tad under-carbonated but well their bottles rarely shine... Nice solid ipa, guessing they still fresh hops and pellets but fair enough. jinroh (2571) - ESTONIA - SEP 14, 2016
Pours coppery orange, just a hint of foam. Aroma is mainly herbal, with some fresh resiny feel to it. Taste is totally about displaying wet hops. Not really about balance nor anything else, just plain and straightforward focus on making the fresh hops shine. They do shine, body is heavy and herbal, lots of resins rising viscosity levels and long and lingering bitterness reminding you of this beer even after it’s gone. Packs only 6% of alcohol but feels much more serious than that. willisread (3924) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 10, 2016
2015 Harvest Brew version made with Shiga’s own hops. Pours a clear orange gold with a small white head that lasts throughout. Good citrus fruit nose with some orange and light pine. Taste is really bright citrus with good crisp and dry finish. Some sweetness on the palate with a bit of stickiness. Very good IPA. KyotoLefty (10926) - Kyoto, JAPAN - SEP 8, 2016
Bottle from Yamaoka, 2008. Deep amber to copper color, darker than expected, thin lacy head. Amber malt aroma, caramel, earth, great hops, slightly fruity. Rich, malty flavor, good sweetness, earthy caramel, a hint of chocolate. Very rich and flavorful with big hops as well, with pine and citrus. Close to an amber. Rather thick, smooth palate, but good. A flavorful and satisfying drink, more of an amber than a typical IPA, but with fragrant and bitter IPA-style hops.

UPDATED: SEP 11, 2013 Tap at Craft Beer Market Jimbocho as Shiga Kogen Harvest Brew IPA. Amber orange colour, small golden bubbly head. Aroma fruit and bitterness, hops, bit of pineapple maybe. Usual grapefruit. Quite a bit of spicy maltiness. Taste, satisfying bitterness, citrus elements, grapefruit again. Just a touch of sweetness from malt. Not bad at all.
