My Bottom Line:Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 25, 2013
Honeyed cereals lead herbal, citrusy hops in the lean, prickly mouthfeel of classic Saison.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the honeyed gold.
-Cereals are nicely defined throughout.
-This doesn’t feel as dry as their Saison One variations.
-The flavor profile is easygoing. Well-balanced, but not memorable.
On tap at their Teppa Room.
Draught at Bungalow, Kyoto. Clear golden - white head. Orange. Citrus. Fruity. Spicy. Peppery notes. Light bitterness. Nice freshness. Nice. HKAndy (16) - JAPAN - APR 15, 2013
Draught at Craft Beer Base. Smoke at the front, with fruit at the back. Really smooth. Slightly cloying due to the finish, but really drinkable. shoulderbroken (4255) - Tokyo, JAPAN - APR 12, 2013
Tap a Big Love Records in Harajuku. Pale amber colour, not much head. Aroma is classic saison, fruity, bubblegum, bit herbal. Taste is slightly sweet, fruity again, bit tropical, some cherry, little bit of citrus at the end. Lingering strawberry and bubblegum aftertaste. Bit floral. Pretty nice. Nowhere near as sickly as I have made it sound. Wombata (625) - Kobe, JAPAN - MAR 13, 2013

Real ale version S8B at Eni-bru. Flavor of light dried orange and dried orange peel with light bittering.
Comment. Ok, though less interesting than their other beers.

pepper lemon and yuzu. Light, little hops and dry. It’s ok, but their other saisons are better jonno (2762) - JAPAN - MAR 9, 2013
Tutti Frutti in a glass. This has a playful, fruity vibe, perhaps too much so, as it was difficult finishing a pint. Still in small quanities, this is a lovely belgian blonde, hoped up on what tastes like kiwi hops. A touch phenolic, but not overtly saison like. Fun. On draft at Craft Beer House Molto in Umeda. It was listed at Saison 8 so I guess this is their tweaked recipe. It poured a clear golded straw color with a nice head of foam which left behind good lacing. It had a citrusy, spicy flavor with a bit of funky/earthiness to it. A bit of a bitter aftertaste but overall I thought it was fairly well balanced and I could drink more of it. Worth trying.
