Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head.
Nose - roast and chocolate. Toffee too. Coconut if you send out a search party.
Taste - very light chocolateand again coconut if some imagination is used.
Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture and a long dry finish.

Keg at Shilling Brewing Company. Dark brown body with a thin beige head that slowly fades. Very faint lacing. Aroma of coffee, Twiglets and dark chocolate. Flavour of charred wood and ashy malt. Tap @ Shilling Brewpub. Black with a big foamy beige head. Mild coconut aroma. Coconut coffee flavour. Light well balanced and nice.

Keg at Shilling. It pours black with a decent off-white head. The aroma is toasted malt, umami, some sweet toasted coconut, earth, coffee grounds and cacao nibs. The taste is dry, bitter, rich roasted malt, earthy, coffee grounds, slightly charred, soft coconut sweetness and cacao with a drying, roasted finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation.
