Bottle, branded Kaori no Nama (Sakura Netherland Windmill) at BarBar, Tokyo. Pours clear golden with a decent head. Moderate fruity nose followed by banana and citrussy fruit flavours. Still retains good dryness towards the finish. Highly drinkable. Ratman197 (15204) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JUN 22, 2010
Bottle poured a clear yellow with a small lingering white head. Aromas of straw, bread dough and light citrus. palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, light bread and spicy hops with a crisp clean dry finish. KyotoLefty (10599) - Kyoto, JAPAN - APR 18, 2010
Draught at Q-Brick. Pale yellow, with a quickly fading head. Biscuity, grainy aroma, clean and malty. Very fruity, sweet flavor, with candy or gum balls. Not terrible, but not very great, and nothing like a real kolsch. Nicely smooth with a light body. This is the best I’ve found this beer. It is often worse.

Tap at the 2005 Tokyo beer festival. Pale, golden, minimal effervescence. Minimal aroma to speak of. Honestly, the only thing between this and water was a little bit of grain. But they sure made up for it with the porter!
