Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Andover Liquors. Appearance is clear dark ruby red with minimal sparkle, no head and no lacing. Aroma is dark-roasted coffee. Taste is bittersweet roasted coffee. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, tastes like sweetened ice coffee. Tasty but much more coffee than ale.

Bottle sent by Shiner for review: The pour is brown like a lighter porter that makes up its base. A foamy head fizzes away like a soda, leaving a slight trail of foam. Smell has some lightly-roasted coffee ahead of some similarly roasty malt. Theres a bit of chocolate in the aftertaste at the finish. Coffee is a good match with a porter or stout. With dark malt adding to the coffees taste, you do run the risk of being kept up the night after some coffee beers, and that kind of happened to me, too. So let that be a lesson about pacing myself.

Looks like a cup of coffee with a small tan head. Smell is coffee and roasted malt. The taste is like a week coffee and a week porter. Very thin watery body. Have never tried Chameleon Cold-Brew so not sure if this is what they was going for or not but I am not all that impressed with it. I need strong coffee to get my day going.

Heavy coffee smell...Reddish hue...Not as dark as I thought on color or taste...Much lighter than expected...Like a flat watered down coffee... Disappointing..Some maltiness

Poured from a bottle. Clear medium brown color, small off white head. Dust and malt aroma. Medium body with a sweet creamy malt flavor with slight gut pepper currents and a decent finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle. The sales guy at the beer store lamented that this is a good ale but most customers avoid it because its made by Shiner. Well, perhaps Shiner doesnt make great beer but they dont make bad beer either, at least for the most part. This ale is a bit better than the average Shiner offering, and has a more equally balanced mix of brown ale and coffee flavors than many coffee beers. Particularly nice, lingering aftertaste. Mild bitterness. Excellent appearance with a durable, dense tan head over a clear dark reddish-brown body.

Pours a medium brown color with a rich coffee aroma. Taste is as advertised, cold press coffee mixed with a dark malt and clean oats finish. Very well done and the dark roasted malt is nicely balanced.

Taste: Crisp, complex, gentle coffee, tart notes, semi sweet, roasted caramel malts. Same with the nose. Dark Mahogany, mostly clear appearance, tan head with delicate lace on glass. Medium body.
