(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of MaltOMeal. Clear, deep golden with a small, off-white head. Lightly sweet caramel in the nose. Light in body with unclean notes of roasted malt and caramel. Has a very soft mouthfeel. The finish is short and dry. 250308 Storm (2684) - Amager, DENMARK - MAR 30, 2008

I usually enjoy Shiner beers (especially bock), but this one fell a bit short of my expectations. Spicy aftertaste, somewhat wattery, overall not very enoyable. ilikestuff (224) - Irving, Texas, USA - MAR 28, 2008
One stange tasting brew. I have yet to find a person that wants another after their first. Has a strange spiciness, highly carbonated, some malt flavor. Not at all what I was expecting, but it is great for pouring over brats. kidmartinek (5007) - austin, Texas, USA - MAR 28, 2008
Medium brown color, 1.5 inch light tan frothy head. Nice mild barley malt aroma with a hint of spice. Smooth and full flavored. My favorite shiner beer.

Clear golden coloured with a small white ehad.
Sweet aroma of caramel and liquorice with notes of hops.
Sweet flavour of caramel, liquorice and hops with notes of rye bread and pine needles. heemer77 (5361) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - MAR 26, 2008
Dark gold body with a medium khaki head. The aroma is grainy with some cornmeal and green beans. The taste has some nice notes of iced tea and old toffee. There is sharp carbonation that distracts from the brew. A lightly spicy finish with some bell peppers and black pepper hints. Decent. yespr (48916) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAR 26, 2008
From bottle, 4A Papsoes New Zealand vs US blind tasting. Pours clear and golden yellow/orange with a lacing white head. Mild malty aroma. Light hops and mild sweet malty flavour. Ends with mild bitterness and a light alcohol feel.
