Super pale yellow with a fizzy white head. Smells kinda stale and corny with a bit of adjunct-laden maltiness. Flavor is weak and uninteresting, with only hints of malts or hops. A notch above Bud, but not by much. henry3r (586) - Wichita, Kansas, USA - DEC 14, 2005
The bottle poured sparkling clear light yellow beverage with a large white frothy head that was mostly diminishing and left a little lacing on the glass. The aroma was well balanced with light malt represented by notes of straw and light hops represented by notes of grass. The body was light with a slightly dry watery texture and lively carbonation. The flavor started off lightly acidic and bitter and the average length finish was lightly bitter. oldrtybastrd (5228) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 11, 2005
Pours a yellowish. Aroams of grains, mild hops, corn. Crisp/slightly bitter, not a whole lot there. turbo (1271) - Arizona, USA - DEC 1, 2005
Bottle poured yellow with a smallish head. Metalic malt and corn aroma as is the flavor.
Not much here.

Clear and golden with no head. Sweet malt aroma with some hops and acridness. Smells more like a Helles than a Pils. Thin body. Sweet and corny. Cardboard and hops. Better than most US lager, but not by much. Gets worse as it warms. This is definately a Classic American Pilsner and not Czech or German style.
hopdog (13247) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 21, 2005
Poured a lighter and clear golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of grain, light grass and some light sweet malts. Tastes of ctirus with a light honey sweetness to it. Like the body, both the aromas and tastes were the watery and thin side. aenimopiate (176) - The United States of Texas, Texas, USA - NOV 4, 2005
I guess this beer is OK for what it is. It is the original forumla brewed by the founders of the brewery, but it is easy to see that beer of this type has evolved somewhat since the introduction of this beer. Bockyhorsey (2638) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - NOV 2, 2005
Aroma is of an aluminum can and bitter.
Yellow body with white disipating head. Flavor is a medium bitter beer with a little of that natural sping water. Swill, could use this for another rating or a palate cleaner. TheBeerOrg (2145) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - OCT 17, 2005
Pours pale yellow and fizzy, with a fully receding white head. Stinky aroma of grassy hops, skunkiness, and creamed corn. Light bodied and fizzy. Ratman197 (15620) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - OCT 6, 2005
Bottle poured a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aromas of straw with a hint of honey. Palate was thin and watery. Flavors of sweet malt and grass.
