OK, Brian made me buy this one (for him). Extremely pale yellow, scant head. Aroma of wet dirty rags. Taste of bitter cardboard. it is what it is.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear pilsener golden with a small, white head. Lightly malty nose. Medium body with some sweetish, malty accents and a small edge of cardboard. Lightly hoppy finish. 270306

Hazy blond color. Very common aroma and taste as other Lagers. Poor.

Bottle. It’s a clear pale beer with a small, white head. The aroma is pretty weak, with hay, grass notes and pale malts. Quite uninteresting, and that fits the flavor too. But at least the flavor has some citrus and a vague bitterness. Medium body, quite dry and perhaps a bit too heavily carbonated. Short finish with grass, hay and pale malts. Well, it drinks easy, but fails big time to interest me. 131114

Bottle - Sweet and light grain. Pale clear gold with almost no head. Light apple and grain with a bit sweetness. Another sad and weak beer.

Bottle from the Coop in Davis, CA. Label is a bit toned down these days. PIcture is of a couple of guys. Brassy gold color with a decent white head. Aroma is grain, and the hop I hoped for, I didn’t get. Near medium body with fizzy/creamy carbonation. Flavor is a mix of pale malt and grain with a wet paper taste substituting for hop. There is hop, because there is a light burn in the finish. Unless that’s the 4.4%! Blah, ’sa rite, but why? MY ANTLERS ARE BAKED.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow golden color with a small white frothy head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a sweet malt and grain. Decent lacing on the glass. The taste is a pale malt and grain. A decent pilsener from Spoetzl.

Bottle poured a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aromas of straw with a hint of honey. Palate was thin and watery. Flavors of sweet malt and grass.

Tmoney99 (14963) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 25, 2006
Bottle. Poured a straw color with a moderate frothy white head that diminished quickly with no lacing. Light grainy hop aroma. Light body with a watery texture. Light sweet grainy flavor with a short finish. Worth trying once.

argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - FEB 1, 2006
(12oz bottle) Small white head that dissipates quickly, atop a crystal clear apple juice body. Aroma starts off skunky, but that clears away to reveal medium sweetness, cereal, light grassy. Taste is medium sweet, cereal, some metallic. Watery light body.
