A cloudy, lemon yellow body with a thin, soapy head. The aroma is really subtle. There is a little citrus and hops, not much else. The flavor is fairly weak. There’s a bit of pungent hops in the middle of the sip and a little citrus in the close, but not a lot else. This beer is not among Shiner’s best and not a great example of the style. tbopslt (354) - New York, USA - APR 14, 2013
Hazy, straw yellow. Grassy aroma with a lemon - pepper taste. Pretty sharp for a Hefe but not bad. ajnepple (6824) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 6, 2013
12 oz bottle poured into my Funkwerks glass. Golden-orange and cloudy with one finger of spotty white foam. The aroma is sweet and fruity with orange peel, wheat malts and yeast. Pretty light body with a crisp feel. Yeasty, fruity, sweet flavor with a dry bitter finish. Kind of refreshing, but pretty bland overall. keanex (1799) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - MAR 14, 2013

Appearance: The body leans a bit orange with pale straw on the edges with a very cloudy appearance. The white head is tall and fluffy with decent retention, it settles into a thin coating with a creamy ring.
Aroma: This is a tart aroma, sort of like hair gel actually. Citrus is strong here with a touch of banana. I’m not huge on this.
Taste: The flavor is a touch sweet with citrus and the wheat lending a mild flavor until the finish which reminds me of orange juice. The orange juice isn’t overwhelming, but it’s prominent and a tad tart.
Palate: Creamy and full bodied with lively carbonation.
Overall: This is sort of good, but the aroma is odd and smells like LA Looks hair gel at times. Too much citrus for me and not enough yeast presence. This isn’t bad, especially for the price, but I wouldn’t buy it again.
cloudy yellow, white head. mild citrus, wheat, malt, orange, bread. medium-light bodied, active carb. better than expected, honestly

Pours cloudy gold with a white head. Aroma of wheat, orange peel and spice. Taste follows nose way too sweet. trapped (3374) - New York, TURKEY - FEB 22, 2013
Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with small whitish foamy head, fresh citrus aroma, fizzy carbonation, slightly bitter citrus flavour, long finish with a bite. Has more bite than a regular hefeweizen. Lemke10 (987) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 24, 2013
Pours a pale yellow color with a decent head on it as you take in the slight scent of wheat. The taste is very mellow and smooth which makes for some very easy drinking. Something that would go well in the summer for those hot days.

one of the first beers i had that i noticed had flavor. i don’t drink this anymore but it was a breath of fresh air, i remember the upside down face label, i miss that. jeremyh70 (1103) - Missouri, USA - JAN 13, 2013
Slightly hazy apricot color with finger and a half of foam with good retention. Yeast smell that isn't too strong. Taste is not complicated with some bitterness and warm bread aftertaste. Crisp, light taste with adequate carbonation. Not bad.
