2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Decent beer. Not much to it, but it went down really well and was very refreshing and simple. Better than the regular Shiner Bock in my opinion. Dry, crisp head and initial imprerssion, rich overtones of wheat, mild spiciness.
Blech. I doth think this crap is old. Not that I expect a ton from them, but blech. Musty stale aroma. No hop presence, light bittering, generic malt, yellow beer. ordybill (1759) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - MAR 13, 2015
Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma- Has an aroma of malt and grain possibly corn, smells good.
Appearance- Has a pale yellow color with a very small white head.
Taste- Has a nice grainy flavor with malt taste, I really like it.
Palate- This is a light bodied beer with light carbonation. Has a really nice crisp flavor.
Overall- I love this beer, I see many on line don’t care for it a lot. I don’t know why but to me it is awesome. morrdt (715) - Jacksonville, Florida, USA - NOV 7, 2014
12 ounce single bottle from a Shiner Family Reunion six pack purchased at the local Harris Teeter. Pours a dingy gold color with no head. Aroma is very grassy. Taste is muted and a bit bland. Meh, nothing noteworthy about this beer. Average at best. Beerathon (1683) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 18, 2014
Nothing good nor bad going on here. Simply a drinkable crisp kolsch. Would have liked a bit more hop character, but Shiner doesn’t seem to give that extra effort. two7offsuit (448) - Massachusetts, USA - SEP 13, 2014
Pours golden with little to no head. Aroma hints at grass and citrus. Flavor is light with subtle citrus.

Bottle - fair size foamy head, clear medium gold color, balanced aroma and flavor - sweet malt and noble hops, crisp finish, not bad overall e303 (287) - - JUL 23, 2014
Bottle to mug. Pours super clear straw with a big white head that fades quick. Aroma is slightly grassy and cereal like. Taste is similar to a pilsner, clean, crisp, not much hops, but bright. Finish is easy with medium carbonation. Absolutely worth the $2.35 I paid for the bomber but nothing ground breaking.

Aroma pale/grainy malts, bread a hint of vanilla. The flavor is pale malts, fruit/berries, mild hops and a long and bitter/beery finish. Slubgob (329) - West Hartford, USA - JUL 20, 2014
Drank from bottle. Light malt flavor,a but like stale beer the morning after but not as objectionable. Light in the mouth with moderate carbonation, grassy and glassy grains, finishes with just a bit of hops. Not a wonderful kolsch but a good light summer drinker.
