12 oz bottle. Poured a clear copper/bronze color with a white head. Aroma was bready and sweet malts,. flavor was a bit grainy, with notes of lemon, citrus. Pretty much a forgettable beer, but very enjoyable. Lagered, typical, quite drinkable if it was around, but may as well get their standards. Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 6, 2011
12 ounce bottle from harris Teeter Barracks Charlottesville, VA, opened 5/1/11. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized frothy tan head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of floral and grassy hops. The taste is grassy, vegetal almost green hops. Some lightly toasted malts as well. Medium bodied. Aurelius (5558) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 6, 2011
Slightly lemony, slightly funky, cheap lager aroma. OK label, twistoff cap on a standard US longneck. Clear gold beer, an almost-white, lumpy head. Lemon-tangy, lightly sweet, not very bitter. Nothing much going on here - not bad, a lawnmower beer. Medium to medium light body, fairly crisp lemon finish. ROGUE (2216) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - AUG 1, 2011
12oz bottle. Poured a light amber color with a one finger whitish head. Strong malt tones coming from the nose with a touch of grassiness. Taste has maltiness up front with a relatively crisp slightly hoppy finish. Light bodied with higher carbonation. HighlanderOne (1373) - York, SC via NJ, South Carolina, USA - JUL 28, 2011
Poured from bottle. Faint aroma of roasted malt and caramel. Bronze, white head that fades quickly. I taste malt, toffee, butter, hops. Nice flavors, but too thin. Dry, lager-ish feel. Thirst quenching. A good beer that could have been better.

12 ounce bottle from the family pack. Pours a clear gold/copper with a small white head. Aroma of malt and citrus. Taste is grain, malt sweetness with a decent hop presence. Easy to drink. Nice lager. johnnyoski (445) - Macomb, Michigan, USA - JUL 24, 2011
Bottle from family reunion pack. Pours a light straw yellow color with a thin, bubbly white head. Some sweetness on the nose. Not much in flavor, some malty sweetness up front but the carbonation washes everything away and it finishes with a cheap, bitter taste. Watery texture and over carbonated. Drinkable and refreshing...but just barely. DrSilverworm (9672) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 23, 2011
Split a 12oz bottle, obtained from the Family Reunion variety pack. Clear gold/yellow color, very minimal head. Light, falling lacing. Light hops taste. Crisp carbonation, not overdone... Mildly bitter finish, but hardly any at all. Drinkable, somewhat refreshing. Not bad, but nothing special. Butters (4176) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUL 21, 2011
Clear golden pour with fair white head. Faintly sweet vanilla corny nose. Flavor is semi sweet but with a small bitterness on the tail. like being hop-kissed. Nothing really special here at all. bleh... Etrimm1987 (21) - Texas, USA - JUL 19, 2011
One of the best after the Bock in the family six pack. I don’t understand why they never gave it its own six pack and if they did why i couldn’t find it anywhere in Houston area.
