Botella. Amber clear colour. Corn caramel grass aroma. Ok mouthfeel. Flavour is mild with caramel, grain, grass and bit malt to it. BVery (10327) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - MAR 6, 2012
UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Bottle. Very drinkable lager, but a lager nontheless. Pours an attractive crystal clear rich gold with a small white head. Aroma is cereal grains. Thinner palate with plenty of carbonation, and the taste is a simple yet somewhat pleasant grain and cereal bit. Doesn’t suck. Bottle, shared with my wife. Brassy gold with an average white head. Grainy profile, maybe a touch of caramel sweetness, a whiff of hops in the finish. Not a bad lager actually! alexsdad06 (10268) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 2, 2011
12 oz. bottle from Tmoney99. Pours a clear golden color with a medium whitish head. The aroma has some grainy, bready malt with a surprising amount of spicy grassy hops. Very little from the nose makes it into the flavor. This is a fairly clean straight forward lager. Nothing really bad here; it is what it is. phaleslu (10099) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 4, 2011
12 oz. bottle from a mixed 12-pack. Pours a clear gold color with some visible rising carbonation and a small white head. Aroma of bready malts, peppery spice, crackers, and maybe a bit of grass and grains. Flavor of sweet, bready malts, toast, crackers, pepper and faint herbs. Light-bodied, with medium-high carbonation and a crisp, malty mouthfeel. Dry finish. I enjoyed this the most of the 4 new Shiner beers I tried in this pack; better than the Hefe, Alt, or Blonde.

Split a 12oz bottle, obtained from the Family Reunion variety pack. Clear gold/yellow color, very minimal head. Light, falling lacing. Light hops taste. Crisp carbonation, not overdone... Mildly bitter finish, but hardly any at all. Drinkable, somewhat refreshing. Not bad, but nothing special. onceblind (9418) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 10, 2015
Clear deep golden with a thin Rocky white head. Funky earhy biscuit with a full yeasty lageriness. Clean quaffable body like all other Shiners; but with lots of crisp cracker and bread crust lager tones. It’s just a crisp lager without any corn notes or badness. But it also has no nuance. Clean and well made, but it’s still a blank canvas. bb (9241) - Alamo, California, USA - NOV 24, 2013
Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Earth and light mineral aroma. Mineral an sweet malt flavor. Medium bodied. Sweet malt and light mineral lingers with light earth and light caramel. blipp (9168) - La Mesa, California, USA - APR 23, 2011
Bottle. Pours gold with a fluffy white head. Sweet and a bit grainy aroma. The flavor is relatively clean with a light sweetness and a hint of grain. Not bad. czar (8996) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 12, 2015
pours unclear bright gold with a shy white head, little retention/lacing. booze, toasted sugary malts, malt extract, caramel stench - like found in cheap acrid and almost rotten fruitieness, iron and other mineral traces. loose carbonation, light to medium body - oily, semi-sweet, metallic and bland woodsy-grassy finish. blah.
