12oz bottle pours light yellow with white head and decent lacing. Nose is corny cardboard; yes! Flavor adds grain. Lightly sweet. Watery. Burpy (homemade pulled BBQ and zatarains). Inoffensive. JakeSparks (125) - Alvin, Texas, USA - JUN 20, 2013
this sells like crazy at my local bar but i can’t stand it. always tastes old or moldy. oh well Malty_MacHops (688) - Eastanollee, Georgia, USA - JUN 6, 2013
Clean and crisp but without definitive character. Mild grassy aromas. Pale golden with a large white fizz. Balanced. Light bodied with a quick bland finish. lawman834 (273) - Texas, USA - MAR 22, 2013
Looks like any other light lager. Has a slightly earthy/vegetable smell. Taste is pretty typical of the style with spring water and cereal grains with a slightly sweet finish. There is a strong aftertaste of minerals or chemicals. Honestly, I would rather just have a Miller Light. Daytonbeer (730) - Ohio, USA - MAR 18, 2013
Has the look of a chardonney. Aroma of some malts and sweet fruits. Taste includes some malts, sugar, and some bitterness at the end.

Not a lot to look at, kinda light tan and fizzy with a one finger head and not much lace.
Aroma is a bit of grains and sweet malts.
Flavor is a little grainy, a little sweet, with a bit of maltiness and not much in the way of hops.
Very light bodied and fizzy.
It’s really not much different from your typical light American lager. AudioCraft (33) - - DEC 25, 2012
Very light. Had this labeled as Blond Light. Sold as a low calorie brew; not much flavor.

Shiner Light Blonde has a medium, stark-white head, a clear, light-straw color, with lots of streaming bubbles and almost no lacing. The aroma is of musty, sweet & sour grain, with a little spice noticed in the sniff. The flavor is of sweet, musty grain, paper, sourness, and grass. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Shiner Light Blonde finishes dry and crisp. Overall, this is a substandard beer, even in the light class. Not very good at all. RJT

Tap flight at Freetail Brewing. Very light yellow pour with a big meringue white foam head. Superb lacing. Smells like a wit beer; wheat and coriander. Taste is like mashed up Wonder Bread soaked in water. Now I know what the buns taste like when Joey Chestnut is throwing down at the hot dog eating contest. USA! USA! USA! It’s actually not bad to me for what it is. More flavor than your standard 90 calorie brew and some respectable qualities. vipinvelp (4580) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - AUG 23, 2012
In bottle at dark Continental Club so hard to tell color, foam and aroma. Taste is that of low alcohol bears, barley. Little bitter aftertaste. (Houston 201208)
