I guess I enjoyed this one a little more than others. Yeah, it didn’t have ons of flavor but it is definately drinkable (in large amounts) on a hot day. Beers pours an almost with water like clearness. best thing is not a bad after taste like many light beers. Hell, if it was cheaper it would be my favorite inexpensive light beer. mar (5436) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 30, 2011
super pale yellow with a white head. corn, grain, and not too appealing. thin, watery, light corn, sweet, definitely a lawn mower beer. AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - JUN 27, 2011
Clear pale piss color/ fleeting fizzy head. Grainy pale malt, sulfer, burnt rubber, petroleum refinery aromas. Light bodied with average co2. Very weak white bread, grainy pale malt flavors--most BMC pale lager products are better than this. drowland (8955) - Georgia, USA - JUN 25, 2011
6/25/11. 12oz bottle with applause and cheers of joy and thanks to Cavie. Hurray. Disgustingly light, clear pour with a touch of yellow. It’s like I dripped some pee into a glass of Sprite. Dusty, metallic aroma with a very plain, slightly grainy flavor with a touch of metal. Considering the blandness and drinkability, 4% is pretty good, honestly. degbert (1776) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUN 12, 2011
Bottle. Pours a pallid yellow -- for you Lovecraft fans, this should be ’Mask Of The Yellow King Beer’. No head. Nose of generic white grape juice and spoiled apple cider. Tastes like vaguely metallic club soda that someone dipped stale bread in. Thankfully, finishes clean and quick. Not quite an offense against the beer gods, but it’s not good.

12oz bottle thanks to frato.
Ridiculously pale, piss yellow color with almost no head. Smells and tastes terrible - corny, metallic, watery, just about everything a beer shouldn’t be. Shiner, I fart in your general direction. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - MAY 29, 2011
The beer pours a clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is heavy on the grain with nothing else going on. The flavor is more of the same. I get a lot of grain and some grassy notes. This beer tastes almost exactly like Miller Lite, which I assume is what the brewers were going for., Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. oysters? on a turkey?? .. . Pours a light gold, foam is grand .. . light grain and dried grass, with a light sweetness, maybe a touch of corn .. . gout sucks apparently .. . this was quite nice actually, but sampling a beer like this at the end of a tasting seems to have been the light tongue refresher i needed- hence my enjoyment i fancy .. . You think I’m one of those greaseballs who doesn’t know the difference between a bow-tie and a cumberband.topherh (1929) - Kearney, Missouri, USA - APR 26, 2011

I knew it would be bad, and it was WORSE! .. why is shiner making a light low calorie beer??!?? it pours a very pale with a strange faint smell ... Taste is just FOUL! ... nasty nasty beer. I have lost respect for this brewery.. Just make your 100th anniversary beer (which at this rate will probably be an NA or a smirnoff cooler clone) and close down and let Saint Arnold take over as Texas’s official beer!!
Pours clear golden with a vanishing white head. Aroma is sweet and grainy. Flavor is sweet, corny, watery and just not very enjoyable. mmmbeer (1428) - Austin, Texas, USA - APR 17, 2011
12 oz. bottle served in shaker- poured a transparent very thin yellow color, medium carbonation, solid wafer thin white clump for a head. Aroma of an almost cheap sugary cereal, with just enough hops to keep me from bitching. Hits the mouth with a thin body, malt is there no doubt but fades in the middle, finish is very watery. Hmm... at least this damn Yankee is now rated among this breweries top 5 raters, ha!

12 oz. bottle served in shaker- I was thirsty so I decided to give this a whirl. Poured transparent thin golden piss color, a half finger white head formed, then came to a point of self-realization, then quickly went away. Aroma of hard water and perhaps one single hop used in a 25000 gallon mashton. Hits the mouth with a thin watery body, got a little wheat and corn, whole lot of water, finish went away on command. The first time in a long time that I finished a beer in 10 seconds or less- I was thristy and it went down like water. So, where’s the beer?
