12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow. Small white head. Aroma is grassy and slight straw note. Toasted malty, slight cornish. Grainy. Flat malty finish. yngwie (17284) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 29, 2013
Bottle, 12oz. As Shiner Light Blonde. And yes, it is a light blond beer, almost pale yellow, clear, and with a minimal sized white head. The aroma is rather weak, some pale malts, yellow apples and a hint of spent grains and a very faint touch of citrus show up. It’s very thin on the palate, with a soft carbonation and some hints of bitterness. Not much flavor either, just a little fruityness and some pale malts. Short finish. Well, it doesn’t meet much resistance going down the throath, but it doesn’t taste much either, and is one hell of a boring beer. 130829 djd07 (16307) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 27, 2011
Bottle. Pours a Pale yellow gold with a small frothy white head that quickly diminishes to nothing. The aroma is a sweet malt and cereal. Thin mouthfeel with a wheat and corn malt flavor and nice crisp finish. Easy to drink, a decent lager from Shiner. bhensonb (15974) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 16, 2008

Bottle. Pours a very clear white gold color with a small frothy head that diminshes quickly. The aroma is a bready malt and corn. The taste is a watery salty malt with a bad aftertaste. Not much going on with this one. Avoid this beer.
Bottle from the Coop in Davis, CA. Pale golden color with a fizzy white head. Aroma of grain with a hint of hop. Thin bodied with mildly fizzy carbonation. Flavor is grain and imaginary hop. Just a bit zu leicht. Tmoney99 (15130) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 14, 2009
Bottle fro Party Town, KY.
Poured a straw color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly and actually produced lacing. Light sweet grainy aroma. Light body with soft carbonation. Light sweet smooth flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration.
Wet cold alcohol with a little character.

A pale blonde beer with a thick creamy white head. In aroma, light grainy malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, so-so. In mouth, corn adjunct, light mineral, light corn sweetness, a touch sunstruck. Bottle from 7/11, Cancún. hopdog (13258) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 27, 2008
12oz bottle acquired in trade with lb4lb (thanks!). Poured a very, very light straw color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of grains and corny. Tastes of the same. Thin and watery body. bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAR 2, 2011
(12oz bottle, courtesy of Fratto) Pours a clear pale yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of light cereal and some corn. Flavor is much the same. Watery mouthfeel and finish. My tap water has considerably more complexity. Could use for hydration after a good workout. slowrunner77 (13206) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 11, 2016
pretty standard for them/substandard overall. Better than your average swill, but not by a whole lot. Thin and lifeless. Worth a tick, nothing more. shrubber85 (11709) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - NOV 11, 2016
Bottle. Biscuit malt and straw aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Moderately sweet milky biscuit malt and mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body. Pretty good - would rather drink this then Shiner Bock.
