I am not one to look for low carb/calorie beer. If I had to though, I would get this. Decent flavor, quick fizzy head, typical generic light beer. Great lawnmower/ drinking game beer as it is quick to go down and really starts to hit the spot after about 6-7. I would recommend this on a hot August day here in Tx.

Bottle in the living room
Pours a very pale straw color with a small white head that leaves a nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma is mild and a little doughy with light herbal notes.

The flavor is lightly sweet & has a crisp maltiness. The beer is pleasantly bitter in a very mild herbal way.
Clean & crushable I suppose

Bottle labeled as light blonde. Twist off, refreshing light pale appearance. Light metallic aroma. Good bubbly cutting co2, nice. No heaviness in this brew, light as described, really goes down enjoyably. Could easily drink a few of these. Perhaps a mild hint of soap in the end. Good overall beer drinken experience. If it didnt have metal in the aroma, I would have given it a 3.

Pours a very pale, clear champagne colour with a white head. Very little aroma. The taste is watery and thin with a flavour of weak malts and corn, or possibly rice. Zero hop flavour. If you are a serious beer drinker dont bother with this one.

12 oz bottle. Taste was pretty good and overall not too bad on the other elements. Give it a try and you may like it.

Bottle: Clear, light gold with a short white head. Lemon, grain, straw aroma. Taste and body have some decent substance..... Barley malt, grains, maybe a little rice-y creaming...(I dont know if they used rice as an adjunct or not)...... Really a pretty darn good light pale lager.

Bottle. Biscuit malt and straw aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Moderately sweet milky biscuit malt and mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body. Pretty good - would rather drink this then Shiner Bock.

Pre pour thoughts. I love the Shiner bottle caps. Different one for each beer. Best by 12-9-16. Pouring into pint glass.

Pours a very clear, light light yellow color. So clear, and well carbonated. It makes for a beautiful show. About one finger fizzy white head. Pretty good retention, pretty good lacing. For a light beer, this is quite impressive.

Aroma is cooked vegetable. Light bread crust. Light spicy hops.

Taste is sweet and lightly spicy. Light bread crust. Light corn flakes. The spicy hops lingers.

Mouthfeel is very light bodied. Very refreshing. Actually rather smooth. Impressive.

Overall, this is actually really good. Perhaps the best Shiner product Ive had! Im always expecting poor stuff from Shiner, but they delivered here. I would probably buy it again, I would absolutely recommend it. I probably buy it more as a treat, for when I want to unwind with one or two.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale straw body under a minimal fizzy white head that vanished quickly. The nose is pretty lacking, some weak malt and corn, not much else. Same with the flavor, just some corn and light bready malt, zero hoppiness. Weak and watery, but I guess thats the point with a light beer.

pretty standard for them/substandard overall. Better than your average swill, but not by a whole lot. Thin and lifeless. Worth a tick, nothing more.
