1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Has the look of a chardonney. Aroma of some malts and sweet fruits. Taste includes some malts, sugar, and some bitterness at the end.
Taste: crisp, super light, caramel malt, bit saline, thin airy mouth-feel. Slight sweet grain nose. Light gold, clear, small head with some lace. Light body. 9 IBUs raymow (1800) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 15, 2017

Bottle purchased from Lee's Liquor in Las Vegas on 13 October 2017. Labeled as "Shiner Light Blonde". I found this beer to be a pretty standard pale lager with a clean crisp mouthfeel and a pale straw colour. Aurelius (5590) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - SEP 18, 2017
Labeled as 'Light Blonde'. A really nice label on a twistoff longneck. Clear, very pale, bubbly, head doesn't stack. Cereal aroma with some huskiness/faint smoke, some mustardy notes. Corny (but probably barley) malt, low bittering, high carbonation. Kinda like a lite cream ale. Spritzy. Drink cold. Not vile, but not worth spending any extra money on over, say, Busch Light either. Publix, Village Square. Part of the Family Reunion mixpack for 2017. FROTHINGSLOSH (8164) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 14, 2017
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright yellow color with a large foamy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was tangy, grainy and a bit dry with a hint of cooked rice. The flavor was tangy with a hint of grape and a dry, grain and rice presence. Medium length finish. Light body. Bland.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, best before 6/5/2017. Pours crystal clear pale golden/yellow color with a 1 finger foamy and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey/pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey/pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, biscuit, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance. Moderately increasing dryness from bitterness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, crisp, fairly bready/grainy, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a nice light pale lager. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Surprisingly flavorful for the ABV and 99 calories. Clean pilsner malt flavor with nice balancing hop presence. A nicely enjoyable offering. yespr (48087) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 19, 2017

12 ounce bottle. 12oz bottle. Pours extremely pale yellow, and very clear with a short lived head. Smell is like a thin pale lager, faint corn malt. freekyp (2427) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - JUN 12, 2017
Shiner joins the ranks of the macro brewers with this light American lager. There’s some light hop grassiness and mellow malt backbone. Thin and crisp. Pours pure golden but lacks any head. Zippy carbonation will make you think you are drinking seltzer. Certainly better than most light beers out there. Still sucks. ginotarugo (70) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 21, 2017
An underrated Pale lager, this Shiner Light Blonde is very drinkable. Very weak on the aroma side however, and low ABV. Overall, I enjoyed it, but prefer San Miguel for this particular style.
