On tap at the brewery. Pours black with a creamy dark tan head of foam. Aroma/taste of chocolate, burnt malts, vanilla, and earthy coffee grounds. dmac (6200) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - NOV 19, 2016
Draft sampler. Poured a great looking viscous pitch black with a tight creamy beige head. Aroma/flavor of fresh coffee and dark chocolate, vanilla extract, burnt toast and roasted malts. Medium body with carbonation that was just a touch too strong and a lingering burnt malts aftertaste. Really pleasantly surprised by this one. pineypower (3294) - Ocean County, New Jersey, USA - NOV 11, 2016
Growler. Pours out black with a nice creamy tan head. Aroma is of medium to dark roast coffee, chocolate, some vanilla extract, burnt toast, rich chocolate syrup. Taste is complex, medium roast coffee, dark chocolate, burnt roast, toast, some light caramel, vanilla, some light bitterness, chocolate syrup. Smooth body, I like this one. katrinaez (1918) - norristown, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 25, 2015
Nice coffee bean aroma (did I walk into a coffee beanery?). Decent black color, low carbonation. Taste is a touch watery, but the after taste has a flavor of wood, nut and obviously coffee beans. Some claggy feel. Tap skmikeg (1826) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 29, 2015
Pours pitch black with a one finger tan head with pretty nice lacing. Aroma is of coffee, vanilla, rum, roasted malts, coco, and sweet malts. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a medium-full body with a creamy, oily, mouthfeel, and a semi bitter, medium-long finisj. Overall, a pretty tasty, and interesting stout.

On cask at Pinocchio’s. Dark pour. Okay, let’s get down to it. Holy coffee crap. Lots of coffee. Cask, so smallish head. Dark. Smells like coffee. Taste is overwhelming coffee...which I like. Some vanilla. I don’t get a lot of rum. Pretty tasty. DocLock (10647) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 5, 2014
Draft notes from Capone’s. Poured dark brownish black with tan head. Nose was dark malt, cacao, fine tobacco, raisins. Black body, thin brown head, traces of lacing. Coffee, chocolate, light roast. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light bitterness. Simple but pleasant.
