Draft sampler. Poured a great looking viscous pitch black with a tight creamy beige head. Aroma/flavor of fresh coffee and dark chocolate, vanilla extract, burnt toast and roasted malts. Medium body with carbonation that was just a touch too strong and a lingering burnt malts aftertaste. Really pleasantly surprised by this one.

Growler. Pours out black with a nice creamy tan head. Aroma is of medium to dark roast coffee, chocolate, some vanilla extract, burnt toast, rich chocolate syrup. Taste is complex, medium roast coffee, dark chocolate, burnt roast, toast, some light caramel, vanilla, some light bitterness, chocolate syrup. Smooth body, I like this one.

Nice coffee bean aroma (did I walk into a coffee beanery?). Decent black color, low carbonation. Taste is a touch watery, but the after taste has a flavor of wood, nut and obviously coffee beans. Some claggy feel. Tap

Has a medium-full body with a creamy, oily, mouthfeel, and a semi bitter, medium-long finisj. Overall, a pretty tasty, and interesting stout.

On cask at Pinocchioís. Dark pour. Okay, letís get down to it. Holy coffee crap. Lots of coffee. Cask, so smallish head. Dark. Smells like coffee. Taste is overwhelming coffee...which I like. Some vanilla. I donít get a lot of rum. Pretty tasty.

Draft notes from Caponeís. Poured dark brownish black with tan head. Nose was dark malt, cacao, fine tobacco, raisins. Tasted roasty dark malty, with notes of cacao, mild rauchy and tobacco, cacao, and prunes. Medium bodied and medium complexity.

On tap at Caponeís. Poured a black color with a small sized off white head. Ashy and smoky - ash tray (especially in the aromas). Also some chocolate, roast and coffee.
