[Bottle] Pours a darker golden color with a fizzy white head. Aroma is of grainy wheat, cherry juice and light grassy hops. Taste is of cherry and wheat. The cherry flavor came across as more artificial than I had hoped. More of a syrupy candy flavor actually. Lingering graininess. Average body. Tasting notes from 12/2011. cbfobes (2888) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - JAN 1, 2013
On tap at Old Fashioned, pours a clear copper with a thin head, the aroma is actually pretty nice with a good amount of cherry and a little bit of malt, the flavor is more of artificial cherry and doesn’t come across as it really wanted to, just not good. jebert (500) - Watertown, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 16, 2012
Pours a burnished gold with a creamy white head that mostly dissipates. Nose is of cherries. Very creamy on the palate. Cherries dominate the flavor, somewhat tart, with a wheat bread backbone and very slight hint of hops. A fine sipping beer, best before or after a meal. tallguyinc (8) - Illinois, USA - OCT 20, 2012 does not count
I need to start by telling people to eff off. If you can’t read than that’s one thing. If you took 2 seconds to look at the bottle, you know what your are going to be drinking; a cherry wheat. Yes its fruity! But. Im pretty sure that’s the point. From my experience this is not a beer for everyone. If you are going to drink this understand it needs to be chilled to the point of almost frozen or the aroma is going to overpower the drink. It a great wheat with a refreshing cherry taste. Great for summer sipping out on the porch. Try it out and I think you will be suprised. tmoreau (4743) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - OCT 18, 2012
Sampler as part of a flight "plank" of the current drafts at the brewpub bar. Poured to plastic with an orange/amber hue, an off white, bubbly head, and light strands & spots of lacing. The nose was soft malt and a perfumey dose of moderately sweet cherry juice. The flavor offered a drier version of the fruit, light to medium body, and decent effervescence. Flavorful, and not overdone as a Fruit Beer.

Pours a bright ruby color with a white head. As the name suggests, aroma is all cherry and wheat, with the cherry being dominant. Taste is similar, but this time the wheat flavor is more potent. Light, crisp, and refreshing. Kind of tart as well. Good carbonation. This is nice for summer. DasBierChef (1081) - Hudson, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 22, 2012
Tastes just like cough syrup. No lie. Relatively thick, sickeningly cherry, and not good. The aroma is tolerable, but the flavor is atrocious. doubelknv3 (1093) - Illinois, USA - APR 7, 2012
Cherry and wheat aroma. Cloudy, copper with off-white head, mild lacing. Cherry, wheat, mild lemon flavours. Balanced with medium bitterness. arkurzynski (2460) - Combined Locks, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 24, 2012
Heidel House Brewfest. An amber beer with white head. Aroma of cherry chapstick, light vanilla, and wheat malt. Flavor is initially a brief tart cherry, followed by wheat malt, and an odd sharp, almost bitter finish. Average body. Not that refreshing for a fruit beer. bconch (471) - - MAR 13, 2012
From old notes. Taste is tart cherries. Much more predominate than SA cherry wheat and more natural tasting. That said an unremarkable beer.
