This a mild brew w/ lots of caramel malt flavors and a tart, fruity edge from the cherries. It’s cloudy w/ a small white head. At the very least, this does appear to be brewed w/ actual cherries which puts it a step above most of it’s ilk. It doesn’t quite come together perfectly but at least it doesn’t taste like Kool Ade. got a 6-pack of this from Woodman’s in Janesville, WI for $7.79 in Winter 2011.
Pours a clear reddish amber color with not too much of a head due to the lack of carbonation. Scent is heavy with sweet cherry juice scents with some wheat scents as well. The texture is rather flat and uninviting. It really reminds me of the taste of day old beer with some grenadine added. Probably one of the worst fruit beers I’ve had. It’s still drinkable but not very enjoyable. I think I’ll stick to Sam Adams Cherry Wheat the next time.

Bottle… Pours golden with an orange tint and a small, fizzy, white head. The aroma is all about maraschino cherries, moderately toasted malts and buttery diacetyl. Medium-bodied and watery with tickling carbonation. The flavor is perfectly balanced, but provides only a touch of cherry essence. Finishes crisp and a touch dry with a faint kiss of butter. Thanks go out to Dad for this one! alexsdad06 (10485) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - SEP 11, 2011
Bottled. Pours a slightly hazy pinkish golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma is slightly tart cherry, wheat grass, with slight medicinal notes. The flavor has some cherry and wheat, but again there are some medicinal notes that take away from this. MrPhield (10) - Stevens Point, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 22, 2011
I blame myself for trying a cherry wheat, was disapointed in everything but the smell.

Bottle poured a hazy orange amber with a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of wheat, light sour cherry, light yeast and hint of spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of sour pie cheries, wheat, light yeast and light spice with a crisp lingering cherry pie finish. dekester1 (366) - Town of Maple Creek, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 22, 2011
Poured a dirty off reddish gold with minimal head and/or lacing. Aroma was of malts and fruitiness, although the cherry almost had a prune smell. Taste was OK - malts, clove, cherry-prune with a mild hop finish. Mouth was OK - low carbonation.
Overall, I was hoping for a bit more here but it was not the worst either. crossovert (13080) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 22, 2011
12 oz that I found at a store in Appleton.
Pours into my weizen glass a red/orange. The bottle says artificial colorings were used, I don’t really see it so I guess that is good. The head is massive and off-white and leaves some nice lacing.
It smells like a normal run of the mill american generic craft beer smell with a hint of cherry.
The taste is very spicy, with an almost vegetable flavor, I’m not really tasting the cherry.
Run of the mill.

Hazy particulate laden amber with a thin white head that fades into a small layers of bubbles. Aroma of malt, candied cherry and grains. Taste of cherry, wheat and grains with a clean finish that has a little cherry in it. Very mild tasting with low carbonation. Scubatrip (610) - Annandale, Virginia, USA - AUG 29, 2010
On tap at the brewpub, pours a hazy pale orange. Cherry nose, cherry taste. Like drinking the water that a jar of cherries comes in.
