Bottle poured a hazy orange amber with a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of wheat, light sour cherry, light yeast and hint of spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of sour pie cheries, wheat, light yeast and light spice with a crisp lingering cherry pie finish. crossovert (12937) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 22, 2011
12 oz that I found at a store in Appleton.
Pours into my weizen glass a red/orange. The bottle says artificial colorings were used, I don’t really see it so I guess that is good. The head is massive and off-white and leaves some nice lacing.
It smells like a normal run of the mill american generic craft beer smell with a hint of cherry.
The taste is very spicy, with an almost vegetable flavor, I’m not really tasting the cherry.
Run of the mill.

Bottle… Pours golden with an orange tint and a small, fizzy, white head. The aroma is all about maraschino cherries, moderately toasted malts and buttery diacetyl. Medium-bodied and watery with tickling carbonation. The flavor is perfectly balanced, but provides only a touch of cherry essence. Finishes crisp and a touch dry with a faint kiss of butter. Thanks go out to Dad for this one! alexsdad06 (10436) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - SEP 11, 2011
Bottled. Pours a slightly hazy pinkish golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma is slightly tart cherry, wheat grass, with slight medicinal notes. The flavor has some cherry and wheat, but again there are some medicinal notes that take away from this. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 1, 2005
Sweet cherries and wheat were very full in the aroma... very refreshing! Appearance was a clear rosy/amber with a light off-white head. Light-bodied and crisp on the palate. Flavor was sweet and tart cherries with a strong wheat backbone. Tart and dry cherry finish. Certainly one of the better fruit beers that I have tried.

12 oz bottle courtesy of my girlfriend’s brother’s trip to Door County. Pours a golden light amber, pretty much transparent, moderate bright white head that dies to a small layer, laces some. Aromas are a bit of wheaty graininess, tart cherries, bit of tannin like bitterness, cereal. Pretty nice. Initial is grainy, flaked wheat, bit of dust, tart cherries, cereal and cheerios. Bitter on the finish, grainy wheat body. Mellow, cherries take over which are decidedly natural Door County cherries. A little underwhelming, but a decent fruit beer. Strength is the natural tart feel of the cherries. CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - JUN 11, 2009
On tap 9/1/08: Pours a transparent copper amber with a spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of fresh fruity cherries and some mild grainy toasty pale malt. Body starts with average fullness and clean fruity cherry flavor and light tartness before a drier finish. Needs more sweet maltiness and balance the fruit character. kaser (6312) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 16, 2015
Hazy orange pour from 12oz bottle from Chad. White head. Light crisp cherry aroma. Wine like. Barley cherry and fruity. Easy to pound. nuplastikk (6289) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 7, 2010
12oz bottle. Why add artificial color? Filtered pink-tan color, a touch of Haze. Minimal, though still present and lasting, head. Sugary cherry aroma, not overly assertive, but hard to mistake. It’s not bad by any means, but very standard, lacking zest. It is more beer-centric than most fruit beers, with some toasty malt tones shining through the mellow, black cherry taste. There is some mild, pit bitterness in the aftertaste that you get after a few sips, which I would think would be hard to appreciate or recognize from a small sample. Pretty decent offering, but blown away by the world of Kriek. JPDIPSO (6223) - Wauwatosa, USA - SEP 9, 2009
Dark amber to copper color.Somewhat fizzy light beige, with a hint of pink color. Cherry candy, almond, biscuit and wood in the aromas. Light dark cherry and wood malt flavors. The almond and wood flavors dry things out and have a mild astringency. I agree with the unique part of the description. Sweet in the start dry in the finish. Leaves me wanting something else.
