Draft at the brewpub. Honey and caramel with grapefruit and pine notes. Somewhat syrupy finish.

The only beer I tasted for here that is in style , this is a one note IPA . C hops all the way. vikingguy (1106) - Carver, Minnesota, USA - NOV 11, 2014
Amber with lots of sediment. Very little aroma. Taste - crackery, caramel malt. Lower hops for an IPA. Grassy and slightly resinous. Avg IPA.

12oz bottle from my parents trip to door county, thanks?? Pours a murky amber/brown with a medium khaki head, lots of gross large pieces of sediment. Aroma of simple caramel and toffee malt. I’m can’t believe I’m going to drink this vial looking swill. Taste of bland caramel and toffee malts with a dry paper flavored hop spice. Not as gross tasting as I was expecting, but pretty tasteless and boring. crossovert (13078) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 31, 2014
355ml bottle. No hop aroma, just bland malt. Flavor heavy malts very bland and poor IPA.

I think it is kind of weak for an IPA. It has a smoky flavor and that is about all it has going for it. I am not a fan of this IPA. I wish it had more citrus flavor. Headbanger (3999) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - MAR 24, 2014
Draft flight 4/26/00 (Brewpub)-Pours amber. Aroma of hops and malt. Taste of hops, grapefruit, and oranges. This medium bodied brew is not bad and pretty tasty. jkwalking05 (4743) - Arlington, Texas, USA - NOV 9, 2013
On tap at Cooper’s Corner in Fish Creek. Amber in color with a decent head. Aroma is of caramel, custard, toffee, vanilla and a hint of pine. Taste is of creme brûlée, light pine, toffee, woody hops. This definitely seems more like an English IPA than an American IPA. The bitterness is there, but the caramel malts definitely have a front seat to the show. I’m not getting the citrus notes others are getting. I wonder if they change the hops they use based on what they have? nuplastikk (6312) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 14, 2012
Tap at Shipwrecked. Pretty bad. Off ringwood Engligh yeast gone wrong. I don’t know if anyone intentionally makes beer seeking these off flavors. Buttery, rancid off tones. Unimpressive weak hoppage...this beer is a joke...on me. jebert (500) - Watertown, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 10, 2012
Pours a dark cloudy amber with a huge frothy light tan head. Nose is hops with some hints of flowers and herbs. Very creamy on the palate, the taste is mostly hops with some light malt and floral notes. Not bitter - a hop head’s nectar. Try it with a slice of aged cheddar on crackers.
