Pale lager??????? Only in mouth feel and appearance ! Over hopped for style. Not sure if bitterness was from hops or from tannins release in high temp mash. Headbanger (3999) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - MAR 24, 2014
Draft Flight 4/26/00 (Brewpub)-Pours golden with a small head. Aroma of grains. Taste of grains, malt, and hops. This light bodied brew is not bad but not good. An OK light brew. nuplastikk (6254) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 14, 2012
This beer is horrendous. Tap at Shipwrecked. Straight up putrid, unacceptable aroma. Like you aged a Pilsener in your garbage can overnight. Really quite bad, no redeeming qualitites. Amateur hour rip off beer...something the brewers should be ashamed of. Disturbing putrid butter. tmoreau (4365) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - OCT 17, 2012
UPDATED: OCT 19, 2012 Sampler as part of a flight "plank" of the current drafts at the brewpub bar. Poured to plastic with a light, orangy gold color, a modest amount of soft white head foam, and light spots of lacing. The nose was quite light, and what was detectable was light yeast, light grain, a touch of corn, and a very light but still unpleasant, acetic/vinegary hint. The flavor was a little better with moderate hop bitterness, and soft malt. With fair carbonation and a light body, this one didn’t start out well, and was just palateable after that.

On tap at the brewpub, pours a hazy pale orange with no head. Very similar to the Bayside Blonde--corny, sweetly malty--but with a bit more corn. It’s a light beer. Meh. kbutler1 (1381) - North Carolina, USA - JUL 26, 2010
Draft. Little head. Pours a clear light golden color. Very little aroma. Taste is very somiliar to a macro. Slight bitter end. Nothing outstanding. GeneralGao (3614) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - JUL 4, 2008
Draft at the brewpub. Smelled of light honey with an added hint of noble hops. Poured a clear light golden color. The head consisted of a white ring. Light bodied and dry with biscuity malt and subdued noble hop flavors. So so at best. valleyguzzler (26) - USA - JUN 5, 2008
Not terribly impressed. With the lack of hops (like most lights) this should have been served colder and it may have come across as more refreshing.
Gave the impression of flat beer that had been watered down. Sort of like Old Milwaukee with a little more character. jaymobrown (1845) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 15, 2007
Light color with slightly fizzy look. Hops, somewhere. Some yeast. Really? Acidic and bitter. Bland and boring. Nope.
