bleh. this was borderline icky. smells like soap. clear light amber. virtually no head. watery. tastes like breaded soap. ElGaucho (2401) - Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA - JAN 17, 2004
Caramelly malt aroma and some cloying sweetness. Cloudy in appearance with some particles and good visible carbonation. Small head that is mostly dissipating. I've had a million beers that taste like this. Add another to the list. Boring. A little stale. Not sweet enought. frankR (149) - Livermore, California, USA - JAN 16, 2004
Small head that diminishes, very low lacing lot of carbonization. Nose of lgiht roasted hops. Flavor is balanced, dry finish. Decent. pivo (2685) - GERMANY - JAN 10, 2004
Light pleasant nose, deep gold color, nice head. Cookie, bread-like malt body. Could use some more hops. Medium body. OK beer. Holdwine (1232) - Beertimore, Maryland, USA - JAN 10, 2004
Good everyday beer. Coppery in color, slightly cloudy. Drinks crisply with just a touch of hoppy fruitiness. How come this "Canadian" ale is so much better than the crap they send over the border?

Amber, but a bit cloudy. Strong Hop aroma with a similar taste that also had a hint of fruitiness. Had a slight malt finish. Enjoyable. Spiesy (2338) - Sydney, Greater London, AUSTRALIA - JAN 4, 2004
Draught, @ Federal Jack’s, Kennebunk, Maine.</br> Amber with a slight lacy head. Big green hoppy aroma. Very nice indeed. Nice finish and much better then the last. YogiBeera (2569) - New Jersey, USA - DEC 28, 2003
Hoppy cherry nose. Amber color, lively carbonation. Nice fruity hoppy taste, refreshes. Light all in all. WabashMan (1024) - Noblesville, Indiana, USA - DEC 18, 2003
Actually, a really nice looking blond with a good light copper color and large, creamy slightly off white head. The aroma is very much lacking in depth and potency, however. Flavor is very creamy with a good malt accent, but otherwise unremarkable. Overall, not a horrible brew, but certainly not one I'll seek out in the future. beerman08 (17) - USA - DEC 11, 2003
Again, this stuff runs right along side Sea Dog for all you Mainards out there. Its a substitute for Molson Export except if feel much more attached to it since I'm a fellow US citizen. This guy is a keeper. Try it.
