Light amber body and nearly no head. Not much aroma, and the flavor is pretty mellow and uneventful. A bit of maltiness, a tad of hops, and ashy finish. Not something I'll try again.

Not much head, but decent lacing, clear golden color - aroma is slightly sweet - crisp and refreshing, with subtle malts and hps that mingle well with one another - slight caramel notes - finish is grainy, reminding me of macro-swill in some respects, but otherwise I enjoyed this - a quenching beer, good for a bbq or lounging out on a summer day.

Clear copper with a frothy, fairly lasting head. Smooth and soft. Surprisingly malty with big and sweet toffee notes. "Beery" finish. Very mild hop flavor/bitterness. Pretty flavorful aftertaste, which is lingering.

Golden color with a small white head. The aroma had a wonderful sweet butterscotch or chocolate character that was unexpected but very enjoyable. The flavor was sweet as well with a noticeable Fuggles hop aftertaste. Nice session ale.

On draught in the terminal of the Orlando airport. Having a 4 beer sampler at an airport makes up for standing in a line with no shoes on any day. Rich gold color with a medium thin white head. Pleasantly floral hops aroma. Maltiness hits you at first but is immediately followed by hops. I noted the commercial description describes the experience of drinking the beer perfectly (for once). There is also caramel and/or butterscotch in the flavor which is a nice touch. Smooth finish. Kind of light for my tastes but it was pretty good.

Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear dark yellow. Aroma is moderately hoppy (herbs, flowers), moderately malty (toasted bread, grain). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Good stuff. Pleasant equally malty & hoppy nose, and a pretty clean well-balanced flavor profile makes this one enjoyable.

Golden color. Light malt aroma. Pretty good body, quite malty (oh, not too much...) and hopped enough.

Golden color. Delicate but nice hoppy aroma, a bit fruity (sweet oranges). The flavor is balanced but simpler; the final is quite bitter (with caramel as well).

Golden color with a medium fizzy white head. Aroma is initially of slight pine, once the head subsides more of a orange hop aroma. Taste is slight citrus with some bread qualities in the mouthfeel. Finishes slightly dry.

nice lite colored head that stuck around for a while.Color was amber.Sweet malty tea aroma with a hint of lemon.Flavor was malty sweet with a lemon grass taste and a definate big hop presence. The carbonation is perfect rite where it should be.Theres a lemon, hop after taste that is slightly bitter but the pleasant kind that doesn't bite to hardthe finish is definately dry almost like sahara desert dry the only thing that hangs around is the hops, and ohhhh it's good definately a brew that is easy to drink in high volume not just 1 and i've had enough.

JahNoth (1039) - Rochester, New York, USA - MAR 14, 2003
Sweeta and malty, with a bitter finish with a taste of green banana. Drinkable - but the Thumper is much more memorable.
