Very light smell, taste is hoppy, maltiness comes in a bit on the end, somewhat sweet, too bitter though MrTipple (4968) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 1, 2015
Aroma: resin, pine, fruity, caramel. Appearance: hazy gold, small, white, frothy head. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: sweets continue, resin again, caramel, turns quite bitter in the finish. Overall: nice IIPA, could do with some more complexity in the palate. Bottle at GBBF 2015, Kensington Olympia. Beerathon (1683) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 31, 2015
Slightly haze burnt orange pour with semi-creamy 2-finger head that remains throughout. Spice hop and pine are there with faint citrus, but definitely some metallic and soapiness. Malts try to help balance everything out, but still pretty bitter. Not horrible, but not very good either. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - AUG 30, 2015

strong hop aroma. prominent, but not overly aggressive bitterness. Although, alcohol is prominent. Despite the great description, nothing particularly unique about this IPA.

Bottle to tulip glass. Pine aroma. Only 65 ibus but taste like its higher. Reddish Amber color. Flavor is very close to being a "red ipa" patricks110 (2495) - Alberta, CANADA - AUG 8, 2015
A bland and unimpressive IPA. Cascade heavy, light toffee and caramel malts with toasted breads. Light floral and tons of citrus. Nothing is really in balance and alot of the profile seems out of sync superspak (5594) - Michigan, USA - AUG 3, 2015
22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 11/25/2015. Pours slightly hazy orange/copper color with a 2 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pear, pineapple, pine, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/pine hops, fruity yeast, and dark/bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pear, pineapple, pine, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pear, pineapple, pine, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness, compelxity, and balance of citrus/pine hops, fruity yeast, and dark/bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky/resinous, and lightly creamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is a very nice English IPA style. All around good robustness, complexity, and balance of citrus/pine hops, fruity yeast, and dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth to drink for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering. astanford (51) - California, USA - JUL 29, 2015
