Bottle with twist off top?? I bought a pick 6 for my brother, but saw I needed this and switched it out. Pours hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma of caramel malt upfront, with grapefruit and pine. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with resinous hops . Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Hazy light amber color. Nice caramel aroma, but there is an impression of oxidization. Dry, with too much cereal flavor, and too much chicory-like bitterness in the final, covering some timid hop resins.
500mL can, pours an opaque cloudy dark orange with a small off-white head. Nose is strong on the malts, with loads of caramel malt, harsh resinous hops, and some fairly prominent spiciness. Flavour is quite earthy and spicy in the hop department, a pretty pronounced fungal quality, some yeast, and dry caramel bready malt. Not a very cohesive or drinkable IPA. Quite a messy beer. Not so good. Benzai (16681) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - MAY 2, 2015
Bottle @ home. Clear yellow to light orange color, medium sized white head. Aroma is malts and mainly floral hops with a touch of fruityness. Tastes about the same: malts, floral, floral hops, lightly fruity, a hint of overripe fruit and a medium to firm bitterness. Decent body, medium carbonation.

Contrary to the description, this really struck me as an EPA. Malt and caramel dominated, with some hops to balance things off. Okay. Bottle from Bob. RickReallyBrew (106) - Franktown, Colorado, USA - APR 26, 2015
This indeed a spicy tasting, hoppy IPA. I like it very much! Not quite as malty as some high gravity IPAs, but maltier than many. It’s red in color. On vacation in Martha’s Vineyard and drinking local brews. Borresteijn (7484) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - APR 24, 2015
355ml Bottle from www.Clear golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of resin, lots of caramel, cookie, vanilla biscuits, some citrus, light herbal, floral. Flavour is relatively sweet, biscuits, caramel, resin, some citrus, floral, light perfumy, firm resinous bitter finish. Medium bodied. Nice. keepersj12 (3137) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - APR 24, 2015
A very nice clear copper with a thin head. True to the English style, lots a malt in the aroma. The flavor has some caramel and a good amount of hops. Pretty well balanced. Finishes very crisp and dry. Tricker (419) - Quebec, CANADA - APR 21, 2015
