Bottle, shared with Parksy and phantomhennes. Dark brown, light brown head. Big blueberry aroma and flavour, fudgey and roasty, full bodied. This reminded me of Tres Blueberry, but the blueberry here was more intense and the overall profile sweeter. Still, pretty tasty stuff.

(bottle) Pours a deep brown complexion with tan head and some glass lacing. Aroma of blueberry, malt and hops. Flavor is cocoa, malt, blueberry fruit, bitter hops and alcohol. Interesting combination. Nice idea, would have appreciated even more blueberry flavor and less hops.

650ml bottle pours an amber brown color with a finger and a half of creamy off-white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is blueberry and chocolate with citrus notes. Taste is a blueberry and chocolate malty sweetness with a light citrus hop bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, this is an outstanding fruit beer with a nice balance of flavors and body. Very tasty and recommended.

Bottle; pours dark brown with a khaki head; aroma is chocolate, roasted malt, some coffee, and blueberries; taste is bittersweet with chocolate, blueberries, malt, and coffee; has dry bitter coffee finish with a hints of chocolate and blueberries; this seems more like a blueberry porter than a radler to me; very good beer nonetheless

Interesting brew , it has hints of porter, the obvious fruit influence, but quite a light body

Pours deep brown, actually black with a medium tan head. Aroma is blueberries and deep roasty malts. Taste is the same, but leading to some chocolate covered blueberries for a quick finish. There’s a little bitterness in the finish too, but it doesn’t linger.

Tasted on 11/11/11 from a capped 22oz bomber bottle with Ryan. Pours opaque dark brown with an oily purple tint and an average tan head that recedes to a thin, even layer of lace. The nose is fresh, over ripe blueberry with underlying dark chocolate, roasted coffee malt, and the very lightest hint of banana yeast. The flavor is more focused on the roasted bitter coffee and chocolate and the fresh over ripe blueberry in the background. The body is medium with average carbonation and a long bitter dark chocolate, coffee, and blueberry finish.

Black, persistent head. Showy nose, complex and pleasant. Medium body, moderately assertive flavor, well balanced mouthfeel, good carbonation and alcohol heat, long palate. Nicely bitter and not dry, Roast flavors, not obviously fruity but pleasant, all the same. Interesting combination, good as a porter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
