Amazing. Best blueberry beer I’ve ever tasted, and better than I would have imagined.

Bottle. Pop! ... And instantly wafts a bushel full of blueberries to the olfactory glands! Wow. Pours a deep, dark midnight blue (pretty!), with a thin but gluey head. The aroma settles into a sweet sugary thing in the glass, but this drinks damn near like an alcoholic blueberry juice. Now, you gotta like blueberries. My wife, she hated it, but then she doesn’t care for blueberries. Me? I could drink this for breakfast. Outstanding. (#4363, 11/21/2011) OntBeerDrinker (514) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 1, 2012

Imperial blue berry porter. Pretty damn unique. And awesome. Mix between a scotch ale and an imperial porter. Clever. Very clever. kra303 (8) - Carbondale, Colorado, USA - DEC 4, 2011 does not count
Wow, blueberry explodes immediately upon popping the top! Pours a blackish, purple with a dark tan head with a hint of purple. Blueberry through and through without being sweet. Dark malty porter like mouthfeel with cocoa and nutty flavors in the background. Good acidity and a nice hint of balancing hop flavor on the finish. Delicious!

THOUGHTS: Wonderful blueberry beer. It reminded me of chocolate, blueberry cordials. One of the best balances between fruit and beer that I’ve tried in a beer. It was like chocolate blueberry muffins, blueberry Eggos, and/or maple syrup on blueberry pancakes. The warmer it got the better it tasted. Hid alcohol incredibly well. It went very well with peanut butter. A great and truly innovative beer.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a very dark red that was basically black in the glass with dark burgundy highlights and an average, off-white head that mostly diminished and left barely fair lacing. The aroma had moderate to heavy roasted malt, molasses, caramel, and milk and dark chocolate; hints of coffee; maple syrupy; and lots of blueberry. The initial flavor was light to moderately sweet and lightly acidic; while the finish was moderate to heavily sweet, lightly bitter, moderately sour and moderately acidic with a long duration. There was roasted malt, blueberry, chocolate, hints of coffee, both sweet and sour blueberries, caramel, maple syrup, molasses, and slight hops to balance things out. The medium body was a little syrupy, but mostly oily with soft and lightly tingly carbonation and a dry, lightly astringent and slightly metallic finish. aasher (113) - Fishers, Indiana, USA - OCT 1, 2011
Yet another beer on my quest to tick every blueberry related creation that the beer world has to offer, except for Blabaer. This one looks promising. Finally a blueberry beer I can take seriously!
This bottle arrived today courtesy of BrewerB, thanks Brian! Kudos to you sir for knocking off one of my wants. It was so random, I never even thought about it being a possibility for this package haha. It pours a dark, dark chestnut brown in color with amber highlights and a one finger, very smooth and creamy beige colored head. It looks like a legit and smooth drinker. When I popped the cap I instantly got a nice dose of blueberry cobbler. It wasn’t cloying and is surprisingly very authentic. Just what I wanted! Aside from the heap of blueberries you get a nice soft blend of dark roasted malts, light chocolate, and some toffee. I could smell this all day. The flavors are a perfect mix of sweet, yet not overdone and very authentic blueberries, light coffee, cream, roasted malts, and chocolate. Dear god I couldn’t have imagined it to be much better. I could pour this on my ice cream. My grandparents would love this just because they love cobbler and coffee. It drinks medium to full in body and drinks more like a stout, which is perfect. Overall this beer was everything I wanted it to be. I actually never thought it could be this good. Great beer to sit back and enjoy to yourself. Thanks again Brian, you hit this one on the head! andrewturba (1190) - Alberta, CANADA - NOV 22, 2012
Pours black with a little light coming through with small tan lace. Aromas of smoke, chocolate, blueberry, oatmeal, coffee, vanilla. Tastes as it smells with great transitions through the flavours and the smoke comes out more in the flavour and the abv hardly apparent. This beer is a complexly delicious. Amazing aromas of raspberrys and blueberrys. Taste is smooth with a long fruityness and a small bitterness. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - NOV 30, 2013
Stunning. Open up the bottle, blueberries. Pour into the glass, blueberries. Finishing note, blueberries. And yet the taste is not blueberry dominant, merely prominent. Let's the porter base come through quite nicely (sorry, not getting Scotch ale). A.
