Pours a deep dark orangish amber color. Aromas of big hop action, sweet malts, and more hops. Flavor has some bready malty tastes with nice grapefruit and floral hop taste. This is one huge bitter hoppy bastard. gopherfan99 (2000) - Minnesota, USA - MAR 29, 2016
Bottle; pours clear copper with a beige head; aroma of citrus, caramel, and a hint of pine; taste is caramel, citrus, and a touch of pine; finish is bitter with some hop notes and a hint of booze; alcohol is subtle Oldschool_Mike (368) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 5, 2016
Bottle into IPA glass. Pours a clear copper colour with off white head. Aroma is grapefruit. Taste is citrusy with a bready malt character. mvp (265) - Harper Woods, Michigan, USA - JAN 3, 2016
Good aroma but not too strong. Don’t care for the color. A little too dark for an IPA. Taste is balanced and a little bit better than average but has a dry aftertaste. hrabren (1366) - Zagreb, CROATIA - NOV 3, 2015
0.33 l bottle from Pivoteka Zagreb. Pours hazy amber with a small frothy off white head. Syrup and malts aroma, along with fruity hops, dried fruits. More like a Belgian ale :) Light bitter start, medium body, drinkable. Suddenly, earthy hoppy aroma. Some licorice or candy, maybe even bubblegum. Warm sweet hoppy finish, light lingering bitterness. Very interesting.

Rating #1255 - Bottle from Shipyard IPA mixer. 25.09.2014 Pours a hazy copper with a fairly frothy head. sticky lacing. Aroma is mild orange, lemon, grapefruit, mild floral aroma.Taste is mild sweetness (citrusy, piney, floral) and a lingering bitterness - cookie dough, caramel malt character really brought out. Super dry finish. euniceradio (560) - Worthington, Minnesota, USA - SEP 17, 2015
22 bomber to tulip. Pours dark amber red, beige foamy head. Aroma of raisin, brown sugar, dark fruits, and deep malt blend. Taste of same. Good malt backbone. Hop character is fruity, juicy with a little spice. Very complex beverage. Finish is with slight boozy heat, but lighter than 9.2 abv would suggest. I get spoiled with WC IPAs. This English style is more like an imperial red to me. radiomgb (2686) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 7, 2015
625ml bottle from the LCBO in Toronto, Ontario. Hazy amber in colour with a long lasting small tan coloured head, good lacing. The aroma is of fruity hops, some light pine, light alcohol, caramel malts. The flavour is sweet, good citrus hop bite, soapy, caramel malt. Warming hoppy mouthfeel, medium body, moderate carbonation. Finishes long, with alcohol and some spice. Pretty good, not like other DIPA’s I’ve had. Fairly tame in that sense. patricks110 (2556) - Alberta, CANADA - AUG 29, 2015
hot nose with a heavy alcohol aroma, light pine notes, not citrus. Pours a dark ruby amber with a thick off white head. Minimal lacing. The first sip is not what I expected. No discerning profile but a strong alcohol presence, heavy caramel malts, moderate bitterness. Off! Tonkun (1296) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 26, 2015
Bottle. Copper pour with a big white head. Sweat, caramel, pine, citrus. No so pleasant aroma. Medium body. Sweet body. Not impressed.
