Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized head. Aroma is malty hops, some alcohol and grass as well as some slight spices notes. Flavour is quite much the same, but has some slight glueish notes disturbing the otherwise nice while. Seems like the Pugleys Signature Series are actually very nice and interesting compared to Shipyards "normal" beers. Travlr (25876) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 12, 2012

Bottle at Cropredy from my GBBF haul ... Nice deep copper ... off white foam head ... sweet toffee light fruity hop nose ... very sweet hop resins ... juicy bitterness ... little soaopy... little odd. omhper (25568) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - OCT 3, 2009
Bottled. Clear amber, rich creamy head. Grapefruity nose. Very sweet with clean hard mouthfeel. The hops collide badly with the immense swetness, making it harsh and inky. Some butterscotch tries to round the wost edges of this simplistic and unrefined beer, but it’s all in vane. Finishes with pine needles and inky bitterness. With more ink than hop aroma and really poor malt structure it’s the least enjoyable IIPA I can remember. madmitch76 (25382) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAY 7, 2012

Clear amber beer. Thin cream head. Slightly soft palate. Rich mix of sweetish malt, deep rich hops and aniseed alcohol. Unusually for an IPA there is some bubblegum ester. Hangs together well though and there is a little fruit and alcohol in the finish.
