COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
NIGORI is the way sake first appeared when it was brewed for the Imperial Court in Kyoto as well as for most of its 2,000 year history. It is coarsely-filtered and the sweetest of all our types of sake. It is especially delicious with very spicy foods. The bottle should be shaken each time before pouring due to the high rice content that settles in the bottom of the bottle.

I had no idea sake could be like this... cloudy and milky-white, very sweet, just a tad alcohol flavor and bite near the end. Almost fruity in the flavor. I’m not a sake guy, so I’m not sure whether this is good or bad!

Bottle split with my wife. Pours a hazed milky color, cloudy. Soft sweet banana and rice, melon and a bit of berries. Medium bodied, soft fruity melon, a bit of sweetness. Sweet rice into the finish, a touch of warming alcohol over big fruity melon notes. Lingering alcohol.

First sake rating. Bottle from Winco. Milky off white pour into traditional cup. Aroma is sweet, some plums. Taste comes in much stronger, sweeter and lots of heat. Nice feel and consistency. Sipper for sure. Finding this a nice meal accompaniment.
