First off, my experience with this beer is that Shock Top on draft is an entirely different phenomenon than when taken from a bottle. In both cases appearance is usually good with a foamy head and wheat cloudiness, but the flavor and texture comes out much better on draft. The bottled version is usually rather flat and bland. On draft, fairly creamy and very orangey- the taste is rather uncomplicated and heavy on citrus. That being said, if you want a straitforward citrus taste, this beer is for you. Orange smell, orange color, orange taste, orange beer. Good for what it is. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Tried that at the Lone Star downtown waiting for my nephew. Poor selection, this was my safest bet...

Very similar to Blue Moon. A crisp and refreshing Summer time beer with citrus and tropical fruit flavors. An easy drinker but nothing special.

Fluffy white and thick head. Pleasant fruity aroma, and pleasant taste too. Paired it with calamari and was quite satisfied. Desired a bit more citrus/orange so the second one I added some freshly squeezed orange juice and it was even more yummy. Considering how little this cost, and the fact it was a 16 oz can (versus 12), it is an excellent value and very much underrated. I have a weakness for both witbiers and fruit beers so this is a fine combination for me. Very cool looking can too. As far as witbiers go, this is a million times better than Great Lakes Holy Moses, and on par (though different) to Full Pints White Lightning. I will be buying more of this.

From a 12 oz bottle into a tulip glass. Pours white gold with head and lace. Aroma of grains, wheat, amber malt. Medium carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of grains, light wheat, light malts, slight hay & straw hops, minerals, citrus zest and subtle coriander. Overall light, refreshing, yet a tad less body than a Belgian wit.

Best enjoyed in a tall mug with an orange wheel as is the norm for additional citrus flavor and appreciation of the color. Hazy Orange. Thin white head that dissipates quickly. Slightly acidic, but lacking in citrus, save for the aroma. Very pleasant hopps flavor with a mildly bitter after taste. Enjoyed with black and blue steak or a big bowl of chili.

354 ml bottle. Bought in a Lider supermarket in Concepcion. Kind of lagerish smell, wouldnt tell that is a witbier at all, not citrus in there. Color and gas is nice though, good looking, but over carbonation. Taste ok, some herbal tastes in there. Not crazy about it. Meh.

I believe this beer suffers from association of the Michelob brand. It is a decent representation of the witbier style. This is a beer Id consider purchasing again, although this particular one was left at my house by my future brother in-law. It would be interesting to have this side to side with blue moon.

Served in a pint glass with a garnished fresh orange wheel. Tastes great this way but, down to the bitty-gritty; this is a brew that is very light and reserved in its potential. Peppery and light cereal notes with florals and moderate citrus in tandem. An industry titan, but a so-so representation of style and origin.

Bottle at hotel room in Flagstaff. Enjoyed straight from the bottle. Aromas and flavours: Some wheat, some spices and some malts. Very weak witbier.
