Been hanging out a lot lately with a couple of macro drinking friends, so here we are. I did introduce one of my friends, who’s former favorite beer was Shock Top, to Hoegaarden, which he likes better. That’s a win. Unfortunately the all you can eat chicken wing place didn’t see fit to have Hoegaarden on tap, so we got this instead. It’s not great by any means, but it’s better than Blue Moon by a country mile, so that’s something. Smells like any other beer of this style, thankfully I didn’t pick up any off aromas or flavors. Pretty crisp and clean for what it was.

Aroma of syrupy orange and some coriander. Taste is fake orange with some spice added in. It does go down smooth but not a fan of the fake orange flavoring in this one. Lots of better witbiers out there. Not undrinkable but nothing real exciting.

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2017 Draft at Stewart Airport. Cloudy golden with a moderate white head. Very little aroma, taste is... almost nothing! A little malt, a little citrus, a little spice but really not much of anything. Although neither was it terrible

Easy drinking Belgian style white, great for a hot afternoon on the patio. Love the coriander, nice finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Great drinking beer for a not so good drinking price. Nice packaging and appearance, maybe I'm just missing the orange. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tastes nice and white - great beer drink for summer heat - almost tastes like my favorite type of milk: that of an infected eastern fat-backed snorlax.

Puh.

Tried that at the Lone Star downtown waiting for my nephew. Poor selection, this was my safest bet...

Very similar to Blue Moon. A crisp and refreshing Summer time beer with citrus and tropical fruit flavors. An easy drinker but nothing special.
