Very unique. Love the name and the beer is pretty good also. Has a very nice finish. mcdav2154 (449) - GERMANY - OCT 24, 2012
Pours dark brown. Tan head disappears quickly. Smell is of wheat and some chocolate. Taste is the same. Smooth. Not my favorite but still good. Strykzone (7364) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - OCT 24, 2012
Sampled at an esbls tasting. Brown and opaque. It smells a little like chili. Not much chili flavor. It is kind of muddled. Not great. Jkeenam (11) - - OCT 23, 2012
Good pour, 1 finger head. Lacing not great. Smell chocolate but no chili. Taste in ok range. Nice try. Would order again if IPA not available

Normally I wouldn’t ever reach for any kind of shock top but this time they fooled me into it. Pours a dark amber color with a white head that dies crazy fast. Aroma is weak chocolate and spice, a bit of fruitiness. Taste is sort of dunkel with a small chili hint in the back of thhe throat, lame brew from shock top, damn them and their trickery.

Bottle. Murky orange amber pour with a small head. Aroma and taste o chocolate malt and chilies / peppers. Moderate palate. Better than I was expecting. Reid (2541) - Salem, Oregon, USA - OCT 22, 2012
12 oz single from Roth’s Sunnyslope store in S.Salem.
Nice enough looking dark amber ale with a light tan head.
Smell is pleasant also milk chocolate, bread and pepper.
Taste smooth, milk chocolate, wheat and some peppery heat in the back, not that bad!
Nice palate..keeps the thing together well.
An alright beer. dfinney23 (3323) - Houston, Texas, USA - OCT 22, 2012
Best Shock Top yet, though that really isn’t saying much. Nice malt presence and just a hint of chocolate and chili pepper, though no heat at all from the latter. sharkbcr (161) - Illinois, USA - OCT 21, 2012
Decent head, brown color. Palate is thin / fizzy. Not much flavor or aroma. On par for most AB offerings. thegreenrooster (4406) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 20, 2012
Pour is a murky brown with a small tan head. Aroma is a decent caramel malt with some cocoa in there. Flavor is some chocolate malt, wheat and hot spice. Finish is a little hot pepper spice with some chocolate and dark chewy wheat malt
