Bottle - Pour was a dark amber with almost no head. Aroma is a strong alcohol smell with lots of malt. Palate is pretty smooth. Malty with an alcohol on the back end. Not sure if I taste any chili or spices. Overall this might be the nicest Shock Top selection!

Pours a reddish brown with a finger length head. Had a grainy aroma with a bit of chocolate. Light sweetness, and had a bit of a chocolate aftertaste. This beer is really thin and watery. This is good beer for Budweiser fans. AKThunder (167) - New York, USA - DEC 28, 2012
A very nice toasty aroma, a nice aftertaste of Chili, not really noticing the chocolate too much, but it is very well balanced. This is actually my first Shock Top product, and I have to say it is enjoyable. I will now have to try their Belgian Wheat, which I never have since of the macro Belgian Wheats, always was a Blue Moon fan. Tricountybeer (167) - Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 17, 2013

Got this at one of the local place’s "get rid of crazy seasonals" sales. The box claimed there would be some chili in there, which I didn’t really pick up. Way more malt than wheat, the spices aren’t too overboard so you can actually have a couple of these in a row. Kind of watery for all the flavor that’s in it, like you dissolved some kind of baked good in a bottle.

Decent head, brown color. Palate is thin / fizzy. Not much flavor or aroma. On par for most AB offerings. Rotbart (155) - - NOV 7, 2012
Medium brown in color with a nice, tan, long lasting head. Minimal aroma. It has a medium-strong bitter taste that eases somewhat on the palate with a hint of spice. oddaroma (139) - Texas, USA - FEB 13, 2013
From the description on the bottle I was lead to believe that this was going to be a brew full of flavor. I was fooled. There are the slightest hints of dark malt, chilis, and some muted spices but nothing remotely strong. All flavors are dull and muddy. The beer does not have a bad flavor, just nothing that you could call good. Pass. Tiger_08 (138) - Sarnia, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 28, 2013
UPDATED: FEB 1, 2013 Jan 27, 2013. Bottle pours clear light brown with red tones and 2 inch foamy beige head that dissipates quickly to a ring. There is a slight aroma of spice mixed with predominantly wheat smell. The elements of chocolate and spice come through more in flavour than aroma but still remains subtle. The palate is very light with a fizzy mouthfeel imparted by the chili and carbonation. The flavour is actually felt more than tasted with slight warming in aftertaste. Impressive twist on a simple wheat beer making it a good seasonal session. May have to drink a few in order to appreciate the subtle complexity. Ok I will, thanks. porkdiggity (108) - Ohio, USA - DEC 21, 2012
Next to nothing for me on aroma. Flavor is interesting with the chili, but overall nothing to write home about. Not bad, but not good.
