Pours golden brown. Chili taste starts off strong, fades quickly though. Chocolate after taste. Nice aroma. Didn't get a pour for with the head as recommended.

Very unique. Love the name and the beer is pretty good also. Has a very nice finish. kereltis (33) - Oregon, USA - NOV 5, 2012
Light tasting for a wheat beer but still has that almost meaty flavor. You can definitely taste the spices. It has the lovely cloudy appearance of a good wheat beer and it is well worth trying if wheat beers are your thing. ezec (4) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - OCT 13, 2012 does not count
Nice bright cloudy amber beer with decent head; no lacing. Complex aroma with caramel malt, chocolate, cloves, nutmeg, orange and pepper. Tastes of caramel malt then an unusual fruity flavor (roasted mango-like), then a little spicy. Full creamy mouthfeel.

12 oz bottle. Pours cloudy brown-orange with a medium collapsing beige head that leaves a little lace. Aroma consists of generic beer, cinnamon. Taste is sweet and a bit savory with typical Shock Top/Blue Moon spices. I’m not getting too much chili--there might be a faint burn in the back of the throat, but it’s barely detectable. Mouthfeel is creamy and the carbonation is soft. Probably the best Shock Top I’ve had, but you can tell they were playing it safe here. They could have amped up the chili more and made a real off-the-wall brew, but AB/InBev is all about not pushing any kind of envelope. Still, this is not too bad. This is one of the better Shock Top beers, a pleasant surprise, and one that I would even drink again. Dark cloudy copper color, foamy head, though somewhat brief, minimal lacing. Nose hints at chocolate and chilis with a hint of the citrus zest typical of wheat beers. Flavor similar, with chili just giving a hint of smoke and tingle, no real heat, but its there. Whatever other spice is present is indistinct. Overall profile is semi-sweet, balanced, medium feel. Cybercat (5895) - Georgia, USA - DEC 21, 2012
Strong aroma is wheaty and yeasty and has a firm dry hay note. Pours a dark, slightly hazy chestnut with a thick pale tan head. Wheaty flavor has hints of cloves and chocolate, quite tasty. Texture has about average body but good fizz. End of the World? Not today! AKThunder (167) - New York, USA - DEC 28, 2012
A very nice toasty aroma, a nice aftertaste of Chili, not really noticing the chocolate too much, but it is very well balanced. This is actually my first Shock Top product, and I have to say it is enjoyable. I will now have to try their Belgian Wheat, which I never have since of the macro Belgian Wheats, always was a Blue Moon fan. mintzmeet (457) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 25, 2014
Cloudy chestnut color. surprisingly good lacing. Smokey flavor but doesn’t overwhelm the chocolate malt. nice thick mouthfeel. People lament the lack of flavor but for a wheat ale this is great.
