Bottle. Taste and aroma is huge Granny Smith apples, as well as straw and hard candy. Decent fruit beer.

Bottle from a friend. Massive smell and taste of apples, both sweet and sour. Musty, it almost felt like drinking a cider. Worked well with a rhubarb pie, but felt weird drinking without the dessert.

Wonderful apple aroma. Hazy unfiltered appearance. Smooth taste and finish. Retronasal bouquet is apple and wheat. Excellent summertime drink

On draft at Meriweather Post Pavilion. Poured hazy green with minimal head. Flavor is sweet granny smith apples. Little of a tart finish. Reasonable summertime beer.

aste is of sour apple and alcohol. pour is cloudy and no head. no flavor of wheat at all.

Bottle. Even my mother, who is a huge Shock Top fan, was complaining about how bad this was, so I had to try it myself. Just disgusting, sour (not in a good way) and artificial flavors.

cbfobes (2883) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - JUL 6, 2013
Tap at the Busch tour tasting room, not much to choose from, pours a hazy dark yellow with a thin bubbly head, aroma is of carbonated apple juice, I suppose that’s what it’s supposed to be, flavor is a tart front end with a sharp honey crisp apple like finish, could be worse, seems a little sugary for my tasting overall, meh.

Thisis12ptfont (1195) - Los Angeles, CA, California, USA - JUL 6, 2013
Carbonated scent of apples and cinnamon. Huge foam top with a gold appearance. Interesting cider overtones with a strong, biscuit like malt base. Much like what you get from a lager or light ale. Overall, not too bad. Kinda like a cider lager.

Barreras (1689) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - JUL 4, 2013
Pours a cloudy yellow with a sweet apple aroma. Taste is a bit sweet with a quickly dissipating aftertaste. The honey taste comes through, especially at first taste. Overall a fruit beer that was a bit odd.
