Draft. Pours a cloudy bright yellow color with a very foamy head. Aroma is wheat, lemons, and a little spice. Tastes like lemon flavored pez. Very sweet, very lemony. A slight amount of spice makes it drinkable.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle marked 14057-BO35. Pale, pale yellow pour with a tremendous fizzy white head the dissolves as quick as it forms. Bland aroma with a slight grain note and a dose of lemon. Thin body. The taste is like drinking lemonade with a semi-crisp ending. I suppose it is true to the style. This is the lowest grade I have handed out in quite some time.

Been looking for this one for a while (as it has been out a long time), every time I go to the States and finally found it in a mixed pack, right here at home. Pours a cloudy yellow colour with a white head, average stay and minimal lace. Lemonade smell and what do you know, in the taste as well. The flavours are sweet, not super strong, but enough to be hard to finish one bottle. Watery sourness and not much aftertaste. I don’t mind the original orange one and raspberry in this pack, but not so much this one

Can from the LCBO. For my review of this beverage, I would first like to dissect its ingredients list. First, I have to ask: Why does there need to be an ingredients list? Is this were a proper all-natural shandy, the ingredients would be simple: beer and lemonade. But instead, there are 8 ingredients listed, several of which I can’t pronounce and/or don’t know what they are. The first two are "Beer" and "Ale" - wait, aren’t they the same thing? What’s going on here that they need to be listed seperately? Next up is "Sugar" - I know what that is, but have to wonder how much if it was used in order for it to be listed so high up on the list. "Citric Acid" - I guess that will maybe balance the sugar? "Natural Lemonade Flavour" - is this even a thing? Why not just lemon juice? "Acacia Gum" - last I checked this was a thickening agent. So why is it in a liquid? "Modified Coconut Oil (Medium Chain Triglycerides)" - shit’s starting to get a bit weird now. "Sucrose Acetate Isobutyrate" - right, that doesn’t sound like something I want to be putting into my body. Oh, I need to drink it now? Well, it doesn’t actually look that bad - nice hazy light gold body, small and tight white head. But the aroma - my god, it’s like someone doused rubber tires with lemon dishwashing liquid and nail polish remover and then lit them on fire. Just horrendous. The flavour is mercifully a bit better, but the "natural" lemon flavour still has a strong artificial/chemical character to it. Barely a quarter of the way into the glass and it starts to remind me of Neo Citran. And then it’s down the drain with the rest of this truly awful "beer"...

"Natural lemonade flavor"? Not sure what that is but it does successfully avoid tasting artificial. Light lemony aroma and taste over a weak but inoffensive wheat.

12oz bottle from the local gas station. pours a glowing murky yellow with copious white head that goes away quickly. Nose is lemonade with a twist of lime. Flavors adds a malty character with a little spice. Flavor is sweet and tart. Medium to light body with watery texture. Not offensive and even tasty. oh, there’s a burp.

A sample among six of its kind. My second favorite. Pours pale yellow with a small head. The aroma is like a wheat beer with some lemonade. The flavor has a bit of beer but mostly lemonade. This one tasted more like concentrate.

UPDATED: NOV 7, 2014 Tap: At a Toby Keith concert. I hate county. What is my life right now? Dingy, golden-yellow, murky and hazy with a thin, wispy white head that reduces to a ring in record time. Aroma is light lemon zest, slightly tart lemon juice, faint grainy and wheaty underbody... That’s about it. Artificially sweet lemons. Taste is disappointing, too. Lots of grains and malts up front with sweet lemon throughout. Overdone, artificial, and just not that good. Lightly tart in the middle, but it fades to a big sweetness in the finish. Aftertaste of grains and lemon. I’d pick Leinie’s Summer Shandy over this one any day.

Bottle from Smoker Friendly. Hazy golden straw in color. Spicy grains and a little bitter lemon in the nose. Sweet and wheaty up front. A touch of soapiness. Decent summer refresher.
