Bottle 341 ml from The Beer Store GenDV138 (7285) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - JUL 4, 2014
Aroma: not as sweet as I worried that it would be. Mild lemon feel. Soft caramel, candy and what behind.
Look: poured as hazy amber with fizzy mid-sized white top.
Taste/Palate: medium lighter bodied with shallow finish. Watery with mild lemon like notes. Semi sweet. Decent as summer beach drink.
Draft during RBSG 2014 at the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten. Hazy yellow with off-white head. Aromas of lemons, soda. Tastes of lemons, wheat, lemonade. Light body with a dry finish. Fine. wlajwl (6884) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - APR 7, 2012
Aroma is lemonade and hints of grains, spices and citrus. The flavor is mildly sweet lemonade along with grains and spices. Better than expected. Braudog (6763) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - MAY 8, 2012
Bottle. Ugh. How did the definition of shandy get linked with lemonade? In my European experiences, they were made with lemon soda (ie, 7Up, which in some places is called ’lemonade’, but ain’t). This drinks like I guess they intended ... mostly bad, industrial lemonade, with a splash of bad, industrial beer. (#4590, 5/7/2012) ajnepple (6701) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 29, 2015
12 oz via bottle at The Pearl. Aroma of lemonade, lemon zest, wheat malts, and light spices. Similar flavor, with a light tart finish. Not too bad, kind of refreshing.

Pours a slightly hazy yellow body with a small fizzy white head that faded to a wispy film. The nose is something akin to lemon Pledge with a bit of malted wheat and maybe a bit of coriander. Flavor wise, it walks the line between a lemon lime soda like Sprite and a really spiced Wit beer. Though it leans a bit more towards the soda qualities. Mouthfeel is fizzy and light, pretty refreshing really, with fizzy spritzy carbonation. Not terrible if you’re looking for something that tastes like soda but will still get you drunk. High school girls will love this one. Patrickctenchi (6628) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - MAR 30, 2012
Very pale yellow, white ring.
Scent is wheat, lemon
Taste is the same with a lemonade aspect..
It bubbles furiously in a flute, yet feels dull.
If lemonade is what you crave, go for a Mike’s instead....or Countrytime.
I just don’t get it. RobertDale (6570) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - MAY 25, 2014
Sample at Hopfest 2014. Comes a light gold with a nice white head. Aroma of citrus, grain, and malt. Taste is lemon, grain, and malt. Not much positive here. blutt59 (6565) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUL 22, 2013
Bottled, yellow color with no head, spritzy lemon lime flavor and aroma, thin bodied finish Pailhead (6541) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - JUL 17, 2012
Bottle: The aroma consists of lemon, mustiness, grass, and faint wheat. It pours a hazy (bordering on cloudy) dull yellow with a one finger fizzy white head that quickly fades to a thin ring around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts with lemon grass/lemon candy. It’s more sweet lemon (a flavor I’m not real fond of) instead of sour/tart lemon. The finish has light wheat and cereal notes. It’s light bodied with lightly fizzy carbonation. Overall...not a fan of the sweet lemon flavors. Obviously they are looking to steal some of the Leinenkugel Summer Shandy crowd, but if I had to choose, it’s an easy choice to go with Leinenkugel.
