Sampled on 4/11/2012. This fruit beer/shandy pours a slightly hazy yellow gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with a quickly disappearing head. The aroma is slightly grassy and sweet with some lemon flavor. A light bodied fruit beer/shandy. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal. Not sure just what I was expecting with this one. I had full expectations of it being like those horrid German raddlers that I have sampled before. Its more like a slightly alcoholic mild lemonade, so its better than the ones I have had in the past. That said its still very unbeer like, the lemon flavor is a little artificial tasting and its malts and hops are really toned down. It is un-offensive but there is really nothing here strong enough tasting to offend. Good carbonation. Would make a decent summer drink, but I don’t think I can call it a beer. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. rumproasts (5359) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAR 9, 2014
bottle. Faker than Pam Anderson. Lemon flavor is unpleasantly artificial and overdone. I can’t imagine who this would appeal to. heemer77 (5358) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - SEP 11, 2012
Bottle. Hazy medium gold with a pillowy bright white head. The nose smells like cheap lemon candy, artificial. There is also some hint of soap. The taste is fairly sweet. It’s like mixing the regular meh shock top wit with a cheap lemonade. Wow, pretty much exactly what you would expect. Not too bad and the sweetness is tempered after a few drinks. A bland cardboard finish. Aurelius (5335) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUL 1, 2017
Lemondrop, lemon pastry aroma - not bad, but a bit wheat-musky right when you first open/pour. Yoked, twistoff longneck, lively faux-painted label. Still hate the Shock Top dude in all his variants. Pillowy white head on a misty straw colored brew. Biscuity, very low bittering, very sweet. Body is thin, starchy and flaccid, and the carbo retention is poor. Even on a sweltering July 1 in North Florida, this is not a go-to. ABC Liquors, Bull Run. Homer321 (5071) - Melboring, Florida, USA - JUN 22, 2014
Draft at STL brewery. Pours a very hazy yellow with almost no head. Aroma is lemon. Taste is a lemon line Popsicle kinda thing with a crisp finish. Decent.

Clear hazy yellow. Small white ring head. Funky dirty aroma of earthy malt amd lemon. Lots of.lemon and.sugar flavor with cereal malt fighting through the background. chinchill (4993) - South Carolina, USA - APR 12, 2015
Looks as expected, if with a rather weak head. Simple lemony flavor with only faint bready malts.
Light body with medium carbonation.
Adequately refreshing and good sweet/bitter balance but lacking in flavor beyond lemon juice. SHIG (4962) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - DEC 2, 2012
Bottle: Poured a hazy yellow with thin white head. Lemon juice aroma. Taste is a lemon citrus burn with a grain finish.

12oz. Bottle: Faint aroma of fake lemon. Poured yellow in color with no head. Cloudy. Sparkling. Flavor is light to medium sweet. Tastes of bad lemonade and grains. Light body. Thin texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, lemon and grain finish. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 11, 2014
I’m sure the base beer is the same so the lemon additive must be better than the raspberry additive. Tasty, zesty and cuts through nicely. Not an IPA or even an APA but enjoyable.
