Pours a cloudy yellow color. Not much head. Okay head retention, okay lacing. Looks a lot like lemonade.

Aroma is not super lemony, in fact barely at all. I smell more wheat than lemon.

Fortunately, some lemon comes in on the taste. But its more like lemon zest. Taste is not tart, mostly sweet, and biscuity.

Mouthfeel is very light and supremely drinkable. It is very refreshing.

Overall, this is a decent shandy. It is perfect for its intended purpose, which is a light summertime hot day refreshment. More accurately would be a lemon wheat beer. I would certainly consider a sixer of this for an afternoon of yard work. I think I like Leinenkugels better. Usually, I find Shock Top products disappointing, but this is the best one Ive had yet.

Pours a very cloudy, Yellow lemon-juice type of color. Has a small White head with a tiny bit of lacing, but head quickly disappears after about 1 minute. Has some good carbonation to start, but it quickly dies down to some light fizz. Aroma is of Wheat and Lemon. Taste is of Wheat and Lemon, and a little light and watery. Label states that it is a "Belgian-Style Wheat Beer With Spices", but I dont see ANY spices floating around? Not a bad Summer beer when you want something a little light and lemony-sweet. Its not to sweet, but not to bitter.

THOUGHTS: Like a wit beer and a shandy had a baby. Sort of like lemon and lemon peel were used to brew a wit instead of orange peel. It had a lot more flavor than I remember Leinenkugel Summer Shandy having. Just a great summer refresher. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a very cloudy, medium to dark, muddy yellow with an average, ever so slightly off-white head that mostly diminished. The aroma had light to moderate wheat; moderate yeast; lemon and lemonade. The initial flavor was slightly sweet and light to moderately acidic; while the finish was slight to lightly sweet, moderately acidic and slightly bitter. There was lemon, lemonade, wheat, yeast and a little orange. The nearly medium body was fairly dry with fizzy carbonation and a dry and lightly astringent finish.

~Strong lemonade aroma with light wheat and coriander spice. Smells quite nice. ~Pours a cloudy yellowish white color with lasting frothy white head. ~Wheaty flavor with coriander balanced quite will with lemonade. ~Light bodied with medium high CO2, wheaty sweet finish with touch of lemon. ~I enjoyed this brew. Could drink these all day on a hot day as it was intended for.

Bottle. Cloudy golden yellow color with thin foamy white head. Nose of lemon drops, herbs and coriander. Wheaty and lemon herb flavors. Candy like. Sweeter and syrup like. Nice, and like the wit character, but not great.
